*guy one* "Hey man, we have 5 bricks of drugs worth $500,000 and we're driving a really noticeable high end sports car....maybe we should draw attention to ourselves by breaking the law and driving on the side of traffic.", *guy two* "dude, that's a great idea!"
That guy in the black charger is literally pulling out some action movie police chase tactics 😂

The calm commentary from the British police officer contrasts strongly with the often almost panicky ones of American officers, especially considering the narrower roads and abundance of obstacles and street furniture. The Ocala officers, though, were calm.

Slipping out of handcuffs and stealing a police car. That is embarrassing. 😮
Nothing odd about driving a Humvee off-road for most of a chase, it is more off-road capable than a police cruiser.
I remember BMW being over the news. The guy running dumped the bag in a bush - 500k worth! Imagine going on a dog walk and find that🤯
In Sweden, if the police try to stop a motorcycle, and the driver tries to outrun the police. The police stopped chasing it. The reason is that the bike is way faster than the car, and the roads are really good for a bike to drive with insane speeds.

It would have been 'Possession with Intent to Supply' which would have landed them with that sentence. Besides, with that amount of drugs...there was no way it was for personal use! The ironic thing is, if they had just waited in the traffic they might not have been caught!

The offence in UK law (Misuse of Drugs Act 1971) is in s.5, which is 'Restriction of possession of controlled drugs', and includes: "(3) Subject to section 28 of this Act, it is an offence for a person to have a controlled drug in his possession, whether lawfully or not, with intent to supply it to another in contravention of section 4(1) of this Act."

@@fotogfitzfoto412 I know (from police documentaries). A vehicle was once pulled over for a quick chat on the motorway about a passenger not wearing a seatbelt. The police ran some checks and the vehicle was not insured (nor was it taxed either if I remember correctly). The police drove the vehicle to the services. Dealt with the driver there and made sure the family had someone coming to take them from the Motorway Services before departing (after the vehicle was recovered).

They were probably high on drugs and were not thinking like a rational person would think. Drugs mess with the brain and makes people do odd things. If they had just stayed normal they could of made their delivery and got home too the wife and a backyard barbecue instead they now get too keep company with Bubba and his pals for 6&7 years

I wonder if the driver of the black hellcat is wearing night vision goggles or if he has a flir camera outputing to a screen he can look at to see a thermal channel. This would explain why he's able to get away and not wreck, and if you can afford a dodge hellcat you can definitely afford to buy good quality thermal imaging or light intensifying night vision, a good set of both can be had for under $10,000 which sounds like a lot until you realize hellcats start at almost 80k for the base model

Dodge charger ‘best driver in the world’. Hardly. Anyone can put the foot down. If he was going along a winding mountain road and outpaced the police, then maybe. But on a highway; anyone can go fast.
Police chases should only be allowed for serious crimes like murder and such . To risk the lives of everyone else on the road for a stolen car or shoplifting little shit like that it should not be allowed. My friend was nearly killed when he was hit head on by someone running from the cops for a traffic violation. That's stupid

When I see these, I have to ask, which is more important, deliberately chasing and thereby ensuring huge danger and certain property damage to civilian and police property, or protecting the property and lives of civilians by letting the guy go? If the fucking cops back off, he will go a short distance, slow down, park or hide for a while, and come out cautiously. While he may have violated some traffic law, NO one was ever placed in deathly danger. Unless there is probable cause to believe the driver intends to hurt or kill people right then, there is NO justification for this idiocy.

I don't know about the USA (where the cops don't seem to care about their own or others property) but in the UK our Police have to undergo special training (not all of our police are allowed to carry out vehicle chases-and some of those who are take additional training to allow them to carry out tactical manoeuvres to bring chases to a stop). The police may also stop chasing at times should the control centre determine it too risky to continue. If there an accident involving a police car there is an investigation. The driver of the Police Car is also breathalysed.

Love how people think that things would work out like that so easily! Some criminals love the joy of flying down the road or being chased, you really think some of them will stop just because they’re not being chased anymore? @@RyuSanctuary No. The reason the (UK - don't know about other countries) may back of/cancel the pursuit is if the risk to the public becomes too high. Hopefully the police might be able to catch up with them later - it could be there are other officers getting to a point up ahead.
