@@Buck1954 interesting. So you should endanger yourself as a passenger so that police don't put you in danger? Last time I saw a record of a vehicle pitted where the passengers were kids. The driver, as it turned out, was indeed a semi-intended kidnapper (he stole a parked, running car to run from the police, didn't realize there were kids inside). Guilty as charged, not only for the kidnapping, very bad guy, but the pit manoeuvre definitely risked lives of the kids and not only that of the felon at the wheel. Police didn't even realise there were kids in the chased car nor did they make sure about who's in the car before the pit. If only law enforcement had technology to stop such a vehicle without introducing an accident... Like grapplers or nets or spike stripes or... I mean, things like what police force in other countries have...

I don't understand with the officers at 8:50 were doing. There were apparently several cop cars already involved in trying to get him to pull over, with one of the cops pulled up beside the perp. They expected the guy to attempt to drive away, which they could've prevented, if the officer parked to the left of the perp had simply pulled in front of him and cut him off, and the officer behind him could've pulled up against his rear bumper to block him in. But instead, the primary officer just sat there for nearly a full minute, occasionally telling the perp to turn the car off. Normally when you pull someone over, you eventually get out of your police car and approach the perp's car, possibly with guns drawn. Instead, he sat in his cruiser for a minute after the stop, which provided the perp plenty of time and space to bolt!

No, they ask, and rightly so, if that was the right way to deal with his wrongdoing. It may be hard to accept, but safety comes before justice and speeding itself is not a crime punished with a death sentence.

At the very least. I would suggest a law that charges them for endangering every person they pass on these chases-one vehicle, one charge- and make it worth the effort for fleeing...😂
So a police officer claiming he's going to work feels remorseful for breaking the law by speeding reckless driving and felony fleeing and gets let off? Now lets flip the script and I do the same claiming I am going to work, can I get charges dropped if I feel remorseful? Now that's what you call officers looking out for officers who break the law.

There are methods for trooper cars to stop fleeing vehicles other than pit. Yes, they cost money in equipment but so does fixing trooper cars after pit. It isn't a discussion of whether to stop or not stop the speeding vehicle, it is a discussion on how.

They wouldn’t be running from the police if the police weren’t chasing them to begin with. I’d be suing the police which is what happens a lot in these cases and why police aren’t supposed to be using certain methods to chase or stop cars. It needlessly endangers the public. Not to mention to mention the amount t of damage done to property including the expensive police vehicles.

@@jae6220 Yeah you're right just let everyone do what he wants! :) Do People like you even think before commenting? Most of these Chases where Pit Manövers happen are stolen Vehicles, so now tell me with you're smart Brain how do you want to find someone after you decide to not chase him in his stolen Vehicle. Even if its not a Stolen Vehicle, they are so many Ways to just ''disappear''. Also you're statement about suing happens a lot in these Cases, yeah everyone sues everyone in this Country. You should look at how much of these sue attempts actually go through. Look at Europe where Police cant pit or do similar stuff, every Speeder just drives without Plate and runs away cause Police just stops chasing after sear tent amount of Speed. In Switzerland its even worse, they have the Rule that the Police needs to caught you in the Act. So there you can just speed with our Lizenz Plate and even if you crash, what happens a lot there, they just Run away and the Police cant get them cause they didn't catch them in the act. If you think they stop with Speeding when Police stops chasing them, than you're highly Wrong. Is that the Message you want to give People who think they Above the Law?

@@Maikel710 Those police chase rules exist because people have died. That includes officers, criminals and innocent people caught up in their path. The public is at greater risk than anyone in a chase. Every car they pass is a potential fatal accident.

The cop telling the guy who crashed into the house to “get out of the vehicle” sounds like a 12-year-old just getting his voice. 😊
About the pursuit of the truck at number 7 it wouldn’t have been a good idea to call off the chase because he could have gone back to running red lights and stop signs along with going excessively over the speed limit passing other motorists in the road. The PIT is very dangerous at times but the dude who was running knew what he was getting himself into. Much love for the video. Very entertaining to watch breakdowns on chases to. This statement is based on my opinion on this specific situation. Here’s the timestamp it’s 15:13 into the video.
