On the first race it was so easy because you were playing against all computers. Sometimes when your connection is bad, all the human players will revert to being medium difficulty computers. You can tell because they don't have usernames on the final standings and none of them take shortcuts.

Can't really call it "default" if Crash isn't using the Balanced engine. 😏

Ngl I loosely fit in with the default crash stereotype. Not so much on the lack of creativity side though. I still customize my character. My skill on the track, however is pretty bad. As a casual player I don't have a lot of time to practice U-Turning, holding blue fire, etc. Once I can do that I hope I can get better and take on all of the ghosts because right now, I can't even beat all of the N.Tropy times .-.

IQisHellaThic yoy They have other developers. Beenox made CTR, but the N. Sane Trilogy (and possibly the new game) was done by Vicarious Visions.

Oh good you mention them two, they're awesome at what they do. Even though I did switch to drift for time trials, I still lean back on good ol' acceleration for other races. It just hit the right buttons for me so thanks for the encouragement.
