Crash Bandicoot 3 (N-Sane Trilogy) - Level 25: Bug Lite (2nd Gem/Platinum Relic)

Here it is, the last normal level I have to achieve 100% in.
Just like Crash 2's 25th level, Spaced Out, there'a Gem route here that requires you to have all 5 Colored Gems in hand in order to complete it and get the clear Gem at the end. I do just this and then die, so it takes me back to the start of the level since I didn't hit any Check Points.
THEN I go through the Time Trial from there, though what you see in this video was NOT my first attempt at it.

I already took care of Levels 31 & 32 at this point. All that's left is to tackle Level 30, which I have more than enough Relic for, now.
The end of this whole playthrough is near!

I noticed that the gem path's gem-lift's colours are on the order of from coldest to warmest. (Blue is the coldest, then green, purple, yellow, and at last red, the warmest. )
How do you get the path to open up
was your time not your best time or it was please answer right away

The platform at the end of the needles that come out from the side doesn’t come up for me (i don’t die before getting there, i just lose that mask at times)
