I played the 6,7,8 last night on my local $5 table, but with a little twist. $25 DC and $12 on 6,8 even if the point was 6 or 8. My logic was if they hit the point (which killed me last session I played 6,7,8), I'd only lose $11, instead of $25. It only happened a couple times. I'd collect 2 hits, to make sure I was making a little bit, then adding the 5 and/or 9 for 1 or 2 units, depending on the point. In for $350, out with $500, so I will give this one another try next time.

Great discipline, cool system. I've seen people rack up on the don't....I've also seen those same players get completely reamed because they refused to switch when the table got hot.

Very good Jacob. Like the taking wins as they come and not pressing. You never know when the devil will rear it's head. Shooter sees a lot of money on the table and gets nervous then the devil pops up. I've seen it happen a lot.

Thanks Jacob, today I learned to just leave those box points out there after the don't got knocked off. If in this case I got back on the don't I would've lost. Instead, the hot shooter provided a nice win.

Jacob: I am using what I call the Risky 5. I used your 678 idea with an idea from El Toro. I start with 5 units on the don’t then, assuming a point is set, I put one unit on each non-point. When a non-point is hit I take the win and pull that point so now I can only loose 3 units worst case. Do it again to get me to only a one unit risk. Then start pressing to the moon. Would appreciate your opinion.

Probably my favorite training session. I used this and FINALLY resisted going on TILT. 500.00 bankroll, bad run of come outs and points hit. at 125.00 left, I took a deep breath...and proceeded to lose 105.00. 20.00 left! But staying with it, I got a couple of runs to get to 15.00 in profit and got the heck out of there! Thanks, Jacob!

Jacob--nice strategies! You're one of the few smart craps guru's that start out dark-which is gonna win over 62% by point +6! You're also one of the few who mention this Huge risk! Came across your channel today and subscribed. Appreciate you following the math to drive your wins. Many smart ideas. 👍 It's hilarious and sad for "light-side only" players to PSO, or PPSO again and again and keep laying out hundreds over and over trying to get past the Point +6 threshold without a 7-Out loss. You get that Huge concept! When 6 or 8 is the point, instead of keeping the DP, you thought of pulling the DP and Laying the 4? From probability standpoint, this moves likelihood from 5/36 (0.14) of getting hit to 3/36 (0.08)-or almost half. Those times when you got hit on the 6 or 8 and lost the DP would have been avoided with a Lay 4. Since the 4 has a 1/12 probability of a "hit" and 62% of shooters 7-Out by point +6, been doing this strategy and the math proves out as a winner. While you have to use 2x the $$ ($200) on the Lay, you win the same $100 and the point doesn't nail you...what do you think? And when the shooter gets Multiple points "Hit" as you had, there's Zero DP loss, because they didn't hit the 4.The lower probability of getting hit remains consistent despite the larger $$ amount for a Lay...🤔 Understand the Lay 4 for $200-$250 is a bit large for a $1K bankroll, but for $2500-$3000 would you consider it a good move from a probability and experience standpoint? Same thing applies on come-out 7's. When you lay the 4 you take the risk of the 7- -6/36 hitting the DP to 3/36 of hitting the 4 and save multiple come-out 7 losses. Plus you play the Lay only on come-out, and you can lay the 4 for $250 and make $25 on every come-out 7. That's another strategy that plays out following the math. What do you think?

Hey Jacob I have always liked the 6,7,8 and really like how you play this 2 different ways in the same session. The next 4 or 5 videos I play along with I am going to roll this strategy and see how it goes.

Probably one of my favorite strategies, 2 extra tips I'll add is when you regressed your bets, you could have also taken down your extra $50 in odds and left the Don't pass at $100. If a shooter goes past 10 rolls or something and you're feeling like they may hit the point you can also take down your $100 insurance policy and just ride it out with casino money. My 2nd tip is, with $100 don't on a come out roll, I sometimes like to throw $5 on the YO

Taking down the don't is ill advised. If you're squeamish about them making the point, just place the point for an amount equal to your don't. That creates a push or win scenario . For example, if you have a $100 don't and the point is 9 and you decide you don't wanna risk your don't, just place the 9 for $100 and leave the don't on the table. If 7 comes then it's a wash. If 9 comes, you profit $40.

This comment in on the 678 strategy portion of video. Let’s check on the 6/8 portion of this strategy where you had a 6 point 2 times and an 8 point 2 times with a cumulative loss of of -100 (-15, -65, -100, +80). I love your 678 strategy, however, your results on the points 6/8 are similar to my results on a the 6/8 portion of the 678 strategy. I have mentioned a solution to this in a previous comment, and at the casino last weekend I won at the 678 by changing the strategy a bit. If the point is 6/8 immediately place against the 6/8 with an amount to guarantee a win, and follow bet a Don’t Come to continue on with the strategy. If you would have done this in the video you wouldn’t have had to change the strategy during the second half of the video to another to recover. I usually track all your 678 videos just as this one and the results are not net positive, as i experience at the casino when not making this minor change on the 6/8. Love your 678 strategy and your video, thanks!

Nice recovery Jacob. Regarding pressing, I've been playing this game for many many years and can count on 1 hand being beside someone agressively pressing. The overwhelming majority of players half press at best. These keyboard cowboys claiming they press to table max are hard to believe. I watch you a lot with this strategy and want you to pull your bets, or regress so your don't bet will profit more 😁. This strategy gives the player so many options, + action which we all want playing craps. I believe with discipline like only letting a shooter hit you twice, will have this strategy in profit especially if you ladder that dont bet when behind.

Great strategy, the one thing I do (and I'm not sure why you don't as well) is Hedge that come out roll. You keep pushing the fact that you want to take the 7 away from the casino once you've come out and I fully agree but why not hedge the come out with a Lay bet (NOT a HOP ... you automatically loose the HOP when the point is established, where the Lay bet can simply be taken down)? With the 7 being 6 out of 36, using either the 4/10 (at 3 out of 36) or the 5/9 (at 4 out of 36) a Lay can soften those come out 7's (even if you don't make it a full Lay to cover whatever you are betting on the Don't Pass). The Lay is pulled down as soon as a point is established. We've all been at the table when it gets cold and the 7s start falling at a rapid rate, this has saved me significant dollars when that happens.

@@alexrosenblum9106 Yeah, I've always looked at the YO bet similar to the HOP ... it's one roll, win or lose. The LAY lets you take it down and no money gets lost (unless of course you roll the number LAY'd on the come out). If you're willing to lose a few bucks on most every come out roll you can "hedge the hedge" (i.e. in addition to the LAY bet, make that Yo bet AND HOP whatever number you are laying).

i did this on a cruise, in oct. 23, won 200 in about 10 minutes, quit, came back a few days later and lost it all

I used to play this way but the 7's and 11's on come out rolls hammer you to a point of no return.

I haven't experienced that. I have had some bad runs but it comes no where near the amount of wins I have had. The comeout is part of doing business, and you can hedge it

Jacob!! Quick question (you can address in your next video): I see you putting $15 in the field. A lot of casinos I’ve played at make you play the minimum if you’re at a $25 table ($25 in the field). Would you put the 25 in the field or just pick up the 9 for $25. You’d lose more numbers but would have to replace less.

At a $25 table you just have to adjust the bets. It's the same play probability wise so moving the bet up is all that needs to be done. I like my Iron Crosses to be a 3 to 1 ratio. I know here it's a 2 to 1 but that is the cheapest it can generally be played.

This is a great strategy if you go 20 without seeing a 7. Every idiot who shoots In s casino shoots 6/7. Then 10/7. Then 8/7. And you’re done

This works on short rolls and long rolls.

Should press take, press take

OK ... I get the consistency thing so that you don't just start pressing on a gut feel that you're on the big roll ... HOWEVER ... Why not adhere to another rule that says when you get knocked off the Don't Pass and you are going to "ride out" the place bets till the shooter 7s out, WHY NOT make the rule say if you just take 6 hits without pressing then go to a half press mode. You've guaranteed the 6 hits you just take on has covered your Don't Pass loss and then some. I just can't understand why you wouldn't move into a half press mode.

6, 7, 8 is GREAT! See what I did there? LOL.
