They really are variations of Hell; Doom Slayer spent eons battling through different versions of Hell before Doom 2016, making all Doom WADs canon.

Tip of the day for people playing Doom with source ports like GZDoom - do NOT use texture filtering. It makes everything look plastic, and gives sprites those ugly hard clipped edges. Instead, use a combination of scaling and FXAA. This will give you a far cleaner, far smoother image without all that blurring. The scaling will give the illusion of higher resolution textures, and the FXAA will neatly soften everything, sprite edges included.

@@DoomHydra Yes, which would be an issue in a game where the visuals are already filtered and anti-aliased. But in a game where all the visuals are constructed entirely of hard lines - where all the textures are pixelated, and thus a series of little squares - the result of FXAA "blurring" the entire screen... is that you get a softening of the image, like texture filtering, but without the weird plastic look of texture filtering - the softening is applied to the entire image, so you won't get weirdly smooth textures suddenly terminating in hard borders (which is what happens if you filter the 2D sprite enemies in Doom). Essentially, normal texture filtering and anti-aliasing blurs things selectively. But when you're playing a game where ALL the visuals are hard, and need to be softened, not just the outlines, applying FXAA makes sense. Especially since games like Doom are so low resolution, you don't actually lose the detail on the pixel art - you just soften it a bit.

All these intentionally shit WADs these people make remind me of all the competently made porno games, like Project X. There's so much potential these people have and they waste it on a HENTAI GAME OF ALL THINGS. Instead of making a good, or at least decent map, they just make a Terry WAD, a fad that's long since worn out it's welcome.

1:34 That music is the boss theme from a Sega Master System shoot 'em up called Astro Warrior.

That intro at the start is actually really cool. Linework and use of colour reminds me of graffiti.

The Lupin Boss Battle music is from Joden of Top Fighter 2000 from Sega Megadrive, and the OliverHancock Boss Battle got the music of Gees from Top Fighter 2000.

Go into the console (the ~ button) and type "bind l linetarget". Make sure that you press the L key. Then, when you look at an enemy, press L to see their stats.

you can still be telegragged with iddqd/god (with icon of sin spawn cube, for example), but from what i know you can't die with god2. it's a gzdoom command.

God mode is normal iddqd, in which you can by killed by single attacks that do I believe 1 mill damage God2 you cannot be killed at all
