My goal this season is to try more soft plastics for panfish. I tried them a couple years ago and just didn’t have the same confidence in them as I do live bait. Hopefully that will change soon. Also, I’d love to see more “Ask the Pro’s”. “Homemade Vs Store Bought” would make for a good episode. Shelter accessories, tackle, rods, sleds, etc. Ice fishing use to be dominated by the DIY mindset. With how the market has exploded over the last few decades with anything you could want being available pre-fabricated, store bought items have become the front runner (for obvious reasons) and ice fishing has become a relatively large industry. It’s still niche but if a guy or gal wants to get into it, there’s something of quality available at all price points for men, women, and children. It never use to be like that. Just some food for thought.
