jícama has not been on shopping list. Really didn’t know how to use it. Thanks to Rick B I did little research. I’m Keto or low carb. I don’t particularly drink alcohol. But now I plan to make agua fresca w jícama. There is good nutrition in Jamaica.

I absolutely love Jicama. I just eat them up. Can Jicama be deep-fried like French Fried potatoes? 🤔

@rickbayless , I am 4th gen Mexican-American. My family comes from Chihuahua. Most of the 2nd generation is gone, and recipes are lost. I've tried searching for recipes from Chihuahua, but I'm having trouble. Is Chihuahua the only region without its own distinct culture and recipes? Could you point me in the right direction? God bless and Merry Christmas!

Looks like a great cocktail. ? though - what is the purpose of adding the jicama to the cranberry juice? texture/body?

Interesting. So no sour/acidic component, like you'd expect in a margarita, but jícama, which is quite the opposite, earthy and slightly sweet. I'm curious about how/why you decided to go that way.

I have seen the chili coated peach rings or mango slices; it would be neat to see a fuzzy navel or some sort of mango/tropical drink be spice-ified.
