Craftsmanship in making katsudon at an astonishing speed ”Kokeshi” in Osaka

KOKESHI is a Tonkatsu(pork cutlet) specialty restaurant located near Ebisucho Station in Osaka, with a history of over 60 years, where the Owner stands alone in the kitchen and prepares delicious pork cutlet bowls at an astonishing speed. This attitude embodies his belief of "doing what is natural every day."
When Kokeshi was founded, beef was the most common meat in Osaka, and it was not customary to eat Tonkatsu. To distinguish it from beef so that it would not be misunderstood, expressions such as tonkatsu, tonteki, and butaman (pork bun) still remain today.
The area around Kokeshi is known as "Nihonbashi" or "Denden Town" and is the center of otaku culture with stores specializing in anime, manga, and video games. With many stores specializing in figurines and goods, maid cafes, and cosplay stores, visitors can fully enjoy Japanese subculture. There is also an abundance of electronics stores, offering everything from computer parts to home appliances.

    そーかつて酪農家(食用牛)さんを周って仕事をしていたころ、北海道内でBSEが蔓延し、「大阪」で肉=牛っていうのを聞いたが、すっごいですねぇ~日本列島は長くて、やっぱり東京と大阪とは文化も違うしぃ~(ノ°ο°)ノォォォォオオオオオ~!行ってみたいなぁ( ̄▽ ̄;)
