Rust valley days!
Years ago we had a Dnyamark riding mower (built by AMF) and when it came time to put new spindles on it Dad put a couple of drive in grease fittings in order to make it easier to maintain.

I have a dilemma.....I ordered replacement spindels WITHOUT pulleys. Now I cannot remove the pulleys from the old spindles that are still attached to the mower deck. How does one keep the spindle pulleys from turning while trying to loosen the nut holding them in place?

I found using a big pair of vise grips holding the edge of the pulley lip, then using a breaker bar after soaking it with PB Blaster did the trick.
I love the cable ones better
Is this a customer's mower or is this your personal riding lawn mower machine?
