Hello Folks, after 5 years on KZread I have decided to revisit and 'reboot' my first ever KZread video upload from 2018. The style of presentation is completely different as if you have followed the channel for a while you will know why. I've decided to do this now as I still frequently get asked questions about how I make tealight holders and they are also my most popular seller at my selling spaces. It was really nice to make this video as it made me think about how much things have changed for me, both from a woodworking perspective and from a personal point of view. Good work, and happy fifth anniversary! I'm going to make a few smaller items, and get back on the lathe in the spring. And then I'll do something big in the summer. Your enthusiasm and energy are a great encouragement.

Very nice. It would make it easier to drill if you had a fence on your drill press, then you would only have to line up one way, be much faster

Drill press workstation with T tracks be lot safer than trying to balance wood on a small steel table 😮& also where can I find the link for those Tea light templates & tea light holders thank u

As others have said, you're an inspiration. The Bessey MFT clamps. Do you find you have to fix them down with the under-MFT knob to use them?

Cheers Ian, very kind of you. In that video I didn’t have the Bessey clamps secured underneath at any time. If I wanted to make sure the wood remains flat (and not rise up slightly) when tensioned then yes I’d use the knob underneath to fix in place 👍👍

Hello Lukas, good to hear from you! This is the Axminster Trade 260SPT planer thicknesser. I’ve had it over two years now and very happy with it. They don’t make it now as it was replaced with the ‘professional’ series that has a single bed lift and drop whereas mine has two separate parts to lift. It’s also about £800 more now than what I paid.

You've gone through a life changing event, learned a new skill instead of just moping around feeling sorry for yourself, worked your butt off to get where you are today and on top of all that you're sharing your journey with everyone else ... @@Hand-i-Craft Yes you have some nice kit ... so have I (but not as nice as yours), a couple of Bosch Pro drills, routers, table saw, a woodworking copy lathe, metal lathe, bikes, house etc etc ... like you I've worked for them, not just been given them 👍
