Crafting A Unique Leather Checkbook
In our last free pattern of the series, we've drawn up a simple and fun check book case for you to make with the free pattern in the first link! This checkbook cover can be made very simply by only using the main body piece and two pockets, or you can get fancy and include the pen pocket on the front and/or the snap strap! The pen pocket holds your pen in with pressure and releases when the checkbook case is open, so make sure to size the pocket for the pen you'd like to use. You can do this by adjusting the spacing on the long sides of the leather piece as needed :)
Happy crafting!

I have to say....and it’s a strange comment but let me clarify I am a leather worker but my day job is a hairdresser of 30 years and lash artist of 10 yrs... but it is so nice to see immaculate nails in a video. Most videos I watch everyone has awful....torn up, and filthy nails. I love watching your work and am always so inspired by your videos but nice clean nails really got me tonight man! Hahaha keep up the fabulous work!

Just ordered some leather, tools and downloaded a few of your templates! I’m so pumped to try it out! The leather I bought is no veg tan leather though but original BMW leather... I know it’s thinner and not as of high quality as veg tan leather, but I really like the feel and look of it! And of course the price of it (got a good deal of about 60$ for a square meter)😅. Pretty sure, that I will get some other veg tan leather in the future and maybe I can get some clients by word of mouth!😅

Hey Corter, long time subscriber! I have a 2019 VW Jetta S and I really want to make a key fob cover for it. The only problem is it is one of the ones where the key flips out and goes into the ignition and most designs I’ve seen are for the ones that are push start so you don’t need to have a space for the key to come out. Any chance we can possible get a video like that? Love all the free templates, I’ve made multiple wallets from your designs! Thank you for everything you do for the community!

I'm 34 and use checks occasionally. Either buying stuff for fundraisers, auctions, estate sales, the DMV, medical bills. Sending money to older family. Card transactions cost money that companies have to pay for so some small businesses want to keep costs down. And it's good to have a physical paper trail sometimes Not to mention card machines do occasionally go down.
