I made these last year and they're one of my favorites!!! I love making them with all of the millions of pencils I collect from various dollar spots lol it's so fun matching all of my pencils and papers and coming up with different looking sets...this is a great project!!! Love this tutorial, already got my materials by watching your tutorial from last year and no problem whatsoever having the pads cut to size at Office Max, and the pack of 12 pads was less expensive at Office Max than Staples. I am a little late watching this video since it was 6 years ago. I contacted the Staples in my area today and asked if they cut notebook pads. The lady said, "Yes," but it will cost $3.00 a cut. The USP Store only charges $2.50 for an entire notebook pad. Loved this project. Enjoy all of your videos.

I love making these. I just made eight tonight and it only took an hour. Our Target doesn't have the tiny erasers, so I used foam Christmas images. They turned out really cute. Thank you for sharing.

Just started watching you and I love all that you do. I've never done a craft fair, but was maybe thinking of trying some of your ideas on a Farmers Market that we have locally and see how that does. I think they would do good. TYFS all your ideas. They are simple as well. And such a great use of the full size sheets of 12 X 12 surely.

After the frustrating experience with Staples I quit making these. Thanks for the new way of doing these.

Thank you for the updated info on where to purchase the skinny pads. We did some searching in town to find alternatives to the notebook because of the attitude we got at Staples for even asking them to cut the notebook down. They wanted $3 per cut! On top of the $10 for the notebook themselves. The associate we asked gave us wth are you asking look, then gave us the Ill have to ask my manager, only to come back with a bigger attitude telling us $3 per cut!! UMMM NO!! Told them wed take our business elsewhere, and we did! Love all that you willing share, we have been incorporating some of your ideas into some pieces for shows we just started doing this past month after numerous requests to start selling our items we make. I love everything you make. Honest question... if you consider the price of the scrapbook paper, the erasers, the notepads, the materials, ribbon, adhesive and packaging sleeves, AND your time and energy... do you make any profit? The craft sales here cost about $75 per table. Last year, I loved your chocolate nugget craft but thatwould cost me a small fortune. Also, you always have gorgeous high-quality 2sided scrapbool paper, not cheap dollarstore kind. Those pads are expensive. I have been discouraged at craft sales lately. The awesome hamdmade sales are so hard to find. Craft sales here now are full of direct selling companies and true handmade is underappreciated. You are amazzzzing!!!

crystal energy Thanks for watching! Unfortunately, for all the work and hours and time we put into our creating of these craft fair items we could never profit enough. However, fortunately for me I enjoy doing it and try to get all of my supplies on clearance or on sale, or with a coupon, so the cost doesn’t hurt me too bad. I also have to consider the crowd that I know attends the craft fairs that I am in and they won’t purchase things for a high dollar amount normally. It depends on the crowd and location, etc. Thank you again for watching and I hope you have a great week. :) Amber

You never tell how well these sell. Please let us know if any/all the items you make sell well or if there were any other vendors selling similar items at the same fair. I don't want to waste time to make a bunch of these and be stuck with them. I've been to fairs where it seemed every third table had notepad sets like these.

Teresa White Teresa, first of all, most of the items I have created this year are new items to me and not repeat items from years past, so I don’t know how they are going to sell. Second, these are a repeat item and I DO tell you how they sell at the end of the video, so you will have to watch all the way through to get that information. Third, not all craft fairs are the same. It depends on your customer base, location, etc. so if you feel like you are wasting your time, please feel free not to create that item. And lastly, I have a full-time corporate job and don’t have time to make my videos perfect, so if I don’t hit on every topic possible, I do apologize. Thanks for watching, Amber
