@@NuNugirl didn't that thing have a seat in the very back, down inside the floor that you had to undo a latch and kind of pull it up??? Maybe the one I had was a different model when my boy was four he loved riding back there, I'd roll down the back window and he would try to hang his head out and wave at cars directly behind me,,

Great scene! Poor Jerry! The scene I like coming up next is where Jerry is put into a hypnotic state and given suggestions that all of his fears are gone. Please post that scene if you would. Thank you. :)

The film is "Cracking up" or "Smorgasboard". In portuguese is "As loucuras de Jerry Lewis" 1983.

The one bad thing about movies in the 1980s is that they destroyed a lot of cars that are now regarded as classics. As another example, the producers of the movie Christine destroyed several late-1950s-model Plymouth cars. Unfortunately, cars manufactured from the mid-1950s through the mid-1970s weren't valued much until about the 1990s, when car enthusiasts started saving and restoring them as classics. Thankfully, that spirit has carried on into this century, and now, cars from the 1980s and 1990s are being saved and restored as well.
