cracker's wither storm mod is fully released and decayed reality is just a beta, decayed definitely have so much potential considering modding on bedrock is harder, also the tractor beam from crackers actually sucks out block just like how it does in story mode

So, Cracker’s mod definitely works for its added content and features, even with the mini and final boss, but Decayed Reality definitely has something CWSM doesn’t: unnerving distant renderer. It doesn’t change to a “Distant Rendered” stage unlike Cracker’s mod, but *stays loaded in no matter how far away you are.* And even creepier, when the Storm isn’t in loading chunks yet, its heads are invisible. It’s even more terrifying when you think of it as a giant, hovering mass with no life visible except for the randomly flailing tentacles that look for anything to potentially grab. Once it loads in, you will finally be able to see what life it does have: the heads, appearing slowly as it finds you once more.

If Decayed Reality wither storm behaved like Cracker's, life would be perfect

decayed reality is much more accurate but i cant get it to get a phase higher than 4 also the wither storm (decayed reality) replaces the ender dragon in the end lol

Ok so both mods are amazing. Crackers has the extra stuff like formida bomb and bowels with the final fight. Decayed tho definitely wins in terms of visuals. Feels like a mod that was made by someone who learned to animate first and code later. Those tentacle movements are smooth as hell. Tho the movements at the start feel weird with it leaning over and turning very fast One thing I will complain about in both nods is the heads moving really fast, kinda throwing off that sense of scale. I imagine a head that massive would take a second to speed up and not move its tractor beam quickly. But both mods are amazing. Can’t wait to see what decayed does with the formida bomb and final fight

Well its a good thing i only have bedrock edition (i have to buy my own java account while i can use a friends xbox game pass for bedrock)
