I patiently wait for Fall Crabbing every year. This is when we catch the biggest, heaviest, dirtiest Crabs of the year. This day I headed out on the Jon Boat with my Dad with fishing rods and 30 crab traps. Early October was RED HOT! Now it's the end of October and the water temps are dropping Fast. We had to work for them. This day wasn't great. We tried fishing and crabbing. Hard to do both when the fish and crabs don't cooperate. Either was I needed a day on the water with poppa and we did come home with Crabs for dinner!
