What kind of bait box ste you using?

watching those crabs get snatched up is actually kinda sad with the music. i would've been wiping away tears while eating their delicious legs :(

I made similar trap what works really well is I use 3\4" PVC pipe and the big ring on the bottom I loaded led and sand inside pipe just the bottom one. If u tighten the net up by retying then u won't have bottom float up like that get more in the trap as well

When's a good time to go, and where do you recommend? I was just at Santa Monica last night and I had no luck, neither did any of the other fishers there.

Since the water has been warm for the last couple of years most of the crabs have been absent. They are still around but deep. Hopefully we have a coldwater year next year, if we do were gonna get tons of crabs.

pretty much all crabs are edible, even the tiny ones on the rocks. only about 2-3 crabs are poisonous and tropical.

Glad you liked the video! The team sewer thing is an inside joke...that ended up being the name we used for our group. I should make more crab videos, they seem to be the most popular for some odd reason....
