Just flew to and from U.K. and E.U.. Airline (AirTransat a budget airline) now considers CPAP to be the personal item. But you can have a carry-on and one checked bag. However new size rules of April 1st means that bags allowed are much smaller! BTW, have never used the humidifer on my CPAPs.

Okay That's the Newer Model that I have, Great I'm on The Correct vid so far. I just need to know how to pack the F20 Mask and headgear. Just saw the Doc within the last few Months so I'm good on the RX, got a great sleep Doctor. It's a Brand new Machine, no need to worry about Power. Well I guess I'll check out other vids on where to Pack The Mask.

My concern is daily maintenance of CPAP parts while traveling. At home, I rinse both the hose and the water chamber each morning, after which I leave them out to air dry. When traveling, I have to rinse parts and be back on the road early in the morning. Although I pat them dry, I don't like the thought of mildew possibly forming in them while in the case. Suggestions? (I hope you're still replying to comments.)

I was hoping you would talk about international travel where distilled water is a scares and if you have to take distilled water from here. How do you take distilled water thru security?

Traveling to Europe for a month. What do I do about distilled water for my machine? Can I use regular water?

If you can't find distilled, I would suggest bottled in a pinch.

My supplier said to just turn the AirSense 11 humidifier off and keep the water tray inserted and all is well? So why do we need the plug?

Hi Jay, If you have a tank full of water in the morning, you didn’t get your humidity therapy. I disagree with your supplier.

to save space while traveling...is it safe to carry the res10 without the case?

Do you know if I need a power voltage converter for international travel, or will a normal outlet adapter work?

Depends on your machine- my resmed mini just needs the adapter not a converter

Hi Steve, I will if they system is changed off of the competitive bidding process. The big guys get cpap supplies at 1/2 or lower than what we pay and unfortunately we can’t make money with Medicare rates combined with the amount of work and staff needed to do so. We did insurance for 6 years and each year it got worse. I would love to get back to it when positive change happens.

It’s all good! Not your fault. Medicare and the CPAP manufacturers decided to participate in a bidding war that benefits the big corporations the most.

Hi Jay, Many people have high deductibles that we service and are not on Medicare. Most of our business is mobility. We are heavily diversified in products that Medicare won’t cover such as ramps, stairlifts, liftchairs, uniforms, etc..

I have my prescription for my cpap. Can I get on a plane with my travel cpap that does not have a prescription?

Never said people should bring backups….Should have a backup in your home if your main breaks if you can. I’ve seen people wait months for replacements.
