Great video again! Thank you as always for these videos! Congrats on becoming VP of finance at your company! May I please ask how much is the entirety of the CPE and renewal process in total each year? Also assuming you work in industry as a VP, maybe consider making content about your experience as such. Most accounting videos on KZread are about public or staff/senior accountant level roles in industry. I'd love to hear more about being an executive/manager in industry. I only really know one person who posts about his/her industry accounting experience (financial controller Bill Hanna).

Hi and thanks!! I have to take 40 hours a year of CPE and report them when I renew my license each year. I will pay $60 to renew and about $30 for CPE, which is for the required ethics yearly course. I will pay 0 for the rest, as I found CPA Academy, which offers free CPE- you just have to be willing to get spam emails about their products/services like payroll, tax, AP, advice etc. Yes, I would love to make videos about my career and all the jobs in accounting that I have had. I have a lot to share. Public and private are two different beasts. lol. 😆 Thanks for your support!
Hi do you mind making a video of how to apply for the CPA exam (application on nasba website, sending in transcripts, paying for the application and fees, NTS, prometric testing sites) as well as the overall timeline of when your application gets approved? I'm currently in the process of figuring all this out and would like to schedule things accordingly. Thanks!
