Andrews McMeel Publishing may best be known as distributors of comic strips to newspapers. They branched out to publishing anthologies of strips such as Calvin +Hobbes, and merchandise licenses. Decks are newish for them, but they do have a good reputation.

Glad you’re on the mend! I love this deck and have enjoyed working with it. I don’t find the sayings too distracting as I find the art so comforting. I agree about more balanced representation though. Hope you continue to feel better!

So sorry you've been so ill Simon. Flu sucks! Thank you for doing this for us while not yet 100%, but make sure you feel up doing the Ccc tomorrow, we will understand if not. Looking forward to it if you are well enough though! Regarding the deck you chose for the walkthrough, I really like it too, it is very cute and cosy, but agree about the lack of male Witches. At least it has some other forms of diversity in it. Sending healing wishes and love. x🙏🍁🍂💕

I like this deck….and not surprised it’s all female deck it makes sense…..Amanda is known for empowering women thru loss trama,healing etc I have her 3 book set of poems Women are some kind of magic : 1. the princess saves herself in this one. 2. The witch doesn’t burn in this one 3. The mermaids voice returns in this one…. 🔴Warning these are not children’s fairytales. Just FYI ……Thanks for the walk thru !! Bonjour 😊 je decouvre votre chaîne et j ai adoré la presentation que vous en avez faite 🤗 la musique en fond etait parfaitement adaptée ! 😁je le regarde depuis un moment , et il me fait de l oeil ..😀 , je debute avec le tarot ( j ai le tarot histoire de sorciere et le light seers ...) je commence a connaitre pas mal de cartes et je trouve ce tarot parfait pour commencer. J adore les phrases associees elles donnent un sens profond a la signification de la carte ...c est parfait ! J attends sa sortie prevue en debut d annee en français, car mon anglais n est pas assez riche et reste tres basique ! 🤣😂 j ai passe un agreable moment merci Hermit ! 💕👍

I'm going to use this for vision boards/inspiration/journaling. Matte finish = hard to shuffle for me. I only read cards that jump so it won't work. Love the images. Very relatable. I do wish there were more of a variety of people in terms of age. I really dislike the notion that old=wise and experienced. You can be a new beginner at age 70 or 80. You're always starting a new adventure throughout your life. oh but i LOVE the 8 of cups. I hate the one in the rider waite because it looks as if someone is leaving YOU but this one marks out your own trail. Thanks for the video.

I very much dislike the Empress wearing a facemask... But love the key words and I think I'll use it more as an oracle. I've been feeling quite anxious for a few weeks and I feel these encouraging messages will be a great way for the Universe to support me getting back on track! What a lovely deck. I think I would also use it as an oracle as it feels it would be happy performing like that as well. I agree with male witches, representation involves everyone. However, a fabulous deck that I will add to my wish list and I’d also give it as a gift. Glad you’re on the other side of the ‘flu.

Just a note regarding Vintage tarot, I ordered a deck recently, however the card stock was bad, unlike your review awhile back. So I found a deck with the same UPC as your deck and it is much much better, very different. The cards are thicker and the staining is darker than the recent version I ordered on amazon. Just thought you may find that interesting.

Thanks for a look at it. I keep coming back to this deck. I only have one tarot deck now I am trying to learn and bond with (RWS style) but I like this despite not being witchy. I agree with you on the the male representation. Take care! I hope you are fully on the mend!

Great video, but just wanted to say that the author of the tarot deck uses she/they pronouns so the deck is infused with nonbinary/genderqueer energy already, plus we don't have a certain look.
