I have good news for you if Perin is your favorite (he is also one of my favorites). “The Slog” is Perin heavy. It’s Perin and women heavy and minimal Rand which is why I think a lot of people find it sloggy. They want their main character to have the screen time Also, welcome to Darth Rand
