Can you share where you found the pergola? Also, is it water proof? TIA!

If you put the pots of hostas in your garage they will over winter just fine. I would try this with the little hedges too. Love your patio as I do everything you do.. You are so creative.❤❤

Can I suggest you put some rocks in the bird bath .that metal will get hot in the sun and be too hot for tiny feet.🐦🐦
I wouldn't advise getting a wisteria for your arbor... unless you enjoy trimming vines everyday. They grow very fast and can bring down your whole patio or raise a loose roof shingle. Something less aggressive may suit you better.

Thank you! I had no idea. Wisteria is no longer an option!!!

Wisteria can actually bend wrought iron fences as they mature

Wisteria tore the gutters off my house. I would also avoid passion flower and trumpet vine. You will never get rid of them. If you want a large flowering vine, get a clematis Montana. They get huge but aren’t thuggish.

Yes they do. We use to have 3 in our yard. It covered our mail box, trim trim and more trimming.

@@margaretdillinger5090 my friend has it growing in a large pot by her patio so it’s contained. You are correct that it can get out of hand though. Nothing compares to wisteria and trumpet vine. The only way to get rid of them is to move
Your patio is magical. Beautifully layered and very inviting. Thank you for the many ideas and details we can incorporate in our own spaces. ❤️👏🏼🇨🇦
I'd love to cuddle up in one of the seats with an icetea. It looks so cozy
So many wonderful ideas! I’m truly inspired to refresh our outdoor space now that the weather is warming up. ❤️
I want to come and hang out on your patio, Sherry! So cozy and inviting. You must get great pleasure spending time out there. Thank you for these patio pointers.
You are amazing and so creative…I love watching how you create areas of coziness without the area looking crowded and overdone!!
So beautiful and what a relaxing place! You did a wonderful job!
It’s a very pretty, comfortable outdoor place. Thank you for sharing it with us. You are extremely talented and a high energy person, it seems. You go, Gal!

You call it a patio refresh but it looks like a complete redo. Your choice of plants, accessories, lighting, and vignettes make every place an inviting place to want to sit and relax. Thank you for sharing your spaces.
So wonderfully creative and frugal. I am in love with your cozy patio. Blessings.
I love the patterned rug on your solid rug! It really did look so cozy! I also thought your idea of adding various metal decor to your pots is so beautiful! Actually all the details made for such an inviting outdoor space! I'm sure your family is enjoying the gorgeous patio you've created!!⚘️🌹🌺🪻🌳🪴

Thank you, Roxie! We are enjoying the patio today. My hubby cooked out and my boys and their girlfriends came over! Loving it!
I worked at a private garden center for 14 years and I've been gardening for over 30 years. We never sold Wisteria, it is highly invasive, as in it will teardown arbors and fences. If you can find the variety Amethyst Falls it was breed to be less invasive.

I’m chuckling at your comment as in NB, Canada where I live it’s almost impossible to keep wisteria alive let alone invasive. It’s all about the plant Zone you live in

Your right. I’ve just spent a week at my sister in laws cutting a wisteria that grew into her gutters roof and even up the telephone and power lines. If anything I would only put wisteria in the arch if she used a pot.
I enjoyed this video so much! I have some items in my stash that I think will be great added into pots on my deck! Thank you for always inspiring me and making me decorate outside the box! You are amazing!
I love how you incorporate the ceramic birds and lighting into your potted plants! Your entire patio area is so cozy and inviting! You are so clever!
You've created such an inviting outdoor area. I'd spend all the time I could out there too.
Hi Sherry, every time I think your patio could not be more beautiful, you surprise me! I love all the inspiration this video offers....and your patio! Many blessings.
I thought last years patio was very creative, but this years is now my favorite! I was thinking;”No, don’t remove the teapot! It’s so cute!”, but, with the new wall decor stretching so high up the wall, it looks great! Adding little lights and decorative finds to the flower pots is such a good idea. If I didn’t have such a “black-thumb”, (works well both on indoor plants, and outdoor plants!), I’d try some of these for sure! I’m sure I can try the fountain, though…
Your patio is scrumptious.
Just Stunning. If you had said you bought everything from a high end store, I would have believed you.❤😊
The vine you were asking about I think is vinca vine. It will grow sweet little lavender flowers in the spring sometimes

Only got one thing to say, absolutely gorgeous. Well done, you have created a wonderful family, cosy, outdoor room that's every bit as inviting as the inside of many properties. 🥰🇬🇧🐾🐾💖
I think that vine could be vinca minor, also called periwinkle. It is a groundcover and spreads. Beautiful ideas as always!

Such a beautiful patio!!!
Lovely result. We couldn’t do curtains in Australia unless we regularly opened them, inspected and brushed them with a broom as they’d be great hiding / breeding place for the deadly red backed spider.
It's all just so beautiful!
So, so cozy!
So many lovely touches 👌🪴
As always, beautiful!
Everything looks amazing.
All I can say is WOW, WOW.
You always have such great ideas.❤ Your patio looks lovely.
The yard looks beautiful! The plant that you ask the name is called a Rosary Vine. Very nice vine. Bless you. Can’t wait to see what’s next!❤
Very pretty. One suggestion: think about how hot that bird bath water will get in the sun; you painted a metal container black, which will make it extra hot. And your solar sprinkler within it only works in the sun, so your incentive is to keep it in full sun.
What a cozy and magical patio!
Absolutely lovely.
love everything you do
Oh my goodness! I LOVE all of it! I would be out here all the time!

Gorgeous patio! So you😊

Wow looks so relaxing and cozy!!!
Having been born and raised in New England, it’s always wonderful when summer rolls around and you can spend more time outdoors. Having a patio like yours, so cozy and inviting, is pure heaven. You always do a wonderful job decorating, in or out. Have you thought about putting lights on the inside of the umbrella? Great when dining at night! And I hope some of your flower choices give off a sweet aroma to help relax you when you’re outdoors. Hope you and your family have a wonderful summer!

@@CanterburyCottage yes, the east coast is very historical, having been one of the original 13 colonies. I absolutely love Cape Cod, so nautical and beautiful shores. Mostly I love the fried clams, sea food and cranberry muffins! Massachusetts is extremely historical, and a visit to Boston would be a joy for you. I really miss going there.
