Coy Flat Campground is one of many developed campgrounds within the Sequoia National Forest.
This campground is at about 5000 feet in elevation, in a nice, dense forest. The campground is beautiful and well manicured. One of the prettier campgrounds of the Sequoia National Forest set in our opinion.
Only gripe is, why do some of the sights have to be so dang close together? Because they cleared out a lot of the vegetation, there are many direct sight lines to other sites at times.
That said, there appear to be some wonderful sites too. And to be honest, any site would probably do, it is going to be more about who camps to you? A fellow Campvue aficionado, or a one time city camper, lacking in manners and campground etiquette? Tis' the issue with those close sites. You never know what you gonna git, like momma said....
