Dr. Tracy Beth Høeg is a physician and epidemiologist at the University of California-San Francisco (UCSF) and an Associate Professor of Clinical Research at the University of Southern Denmark with a special interest in medical evidence, vaccines, COVID-19, public health, medical ethics and sports medicine.
Her research focuses on joint epidemiological studies on vaccinations with the goal of improving transparency, collaboration and understanding about public health and medical research in Scandinavia versus the United States..

Politicians over-react or mis-react to crises. Covid was nothing different in that respect. What it showed was that UC -Davic and CDC are acting like political institutions, not scientific ones.

We learned how messed up our country is.
There were certainly times, when we did not follow science but advertisement or even propaganda. It is enabled by fear. This is common also during wars.
We are right back to when the Pope was the leader of scholasticism and Galileo got in trouble …
I think you need to be more specific. There was no full youth ban on outdoor sport in California. Which sports? Also if you say masks don't work, which masks? If you bring up a Stanford prof, maybe you should examine how poorly designed his study was.

Yea. I thought we were all "following the science"! We have a huge problem, and as we all know, losing trust is easy, but regaining it is difficult and will likely take a long time.
