VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Alissa was a nurse, and Cody was a design engineer for security systems. Both working in New York City when the Pandemic encouraged a new thought for their future path. After putting 60k into a new home on wheels (including the van purchase), they hit the road and started exploring. With no propane on board, 550 watts of solar support the all-electric power system.
The interior holds unique storage ideas, and several organization hacks provide the max use of space. Two swivel fans, two max air fans, and two windows give a generous airflow when needed. Timmy, the cat, has his hideaway under a cabinet and the freedom to roam the cabin whenever he wants! The garage holds outdoor gear, extra tools, and a beautiful hand-painted mural by a traveling friend.

Very nice decor. I am a retired nurse and laugh at people's comments about the composting toilets. For people who say the toilet is "in the kitchen"!! You should see the germs on your phone. Studies demonstrate most phones are filthy.🤣 , worse then a toilet.. also the kitty litter now is "clumping" ( minimal scattering) and is deodorized, no odor..... yes washing your hands is important too. Smart dude!! Nice to reciprocate and provide the income. Good luck, safe journey.

Hello from a nurse in Melbourne Australia. Really like your van. Glad to see someone who doesn’t say a toilet is not important. We also use a shopping bag for our rubbish. I also noted your fire extinguisher behind the seat. Many vans don’t have it. Please stay safe.

This is a beautiful van build, they pretty much have everything a sticks and bricks has. No worries about filling up propane tanks either, they have so much power, I love that. I really like there is a toilet in the van, I can't imagine having to go outside in the middle of the night. I also really like the separate freezer for ice creme. All in all I love your tiny home!

At last! Honesty about the ubiquitous 'spice rack' - forgetting what's in the jar, and contamination through handling. (the magnetic spice jars, as with the prayer flag/bunting is such a cliché). Tbh , I get through some spices at a far greater rate than others, and my store sells them in little card boxes... lighter to carry, and no rattle. :)

Love this for you. That would be amazing to be able to travel wherever your vehicle could go and have everything you need and own with you at all times. Like you said you can’t forget anything because your house is literally going with you.

Plenty of people talk about laundry and trash both. I get the deal about emptying the “bedpan.” I’ve been a nurse for over 30 years and there are some things that don’t bother me! Love the lithium/solar/ no fuel idea.

I watch all the Tiny Homes videos and you two have done it right. We live in Thailand and would like to build something similar to your home on the road, of course, we will tailor it to our desires and needs, but you did a great job, great idea for not having propane, plenty of electricity, kitchen spot on and I guess showers might be an issue, but I was a trucker for many years and I'm a baby wipe guy as well as a no-rinse shampoo user, my wife also traveled with me and she adapted just the same...I'm an older guy, age 62, I am legally blind, so my wife does all the driving so a large vehicle such as a schoolie would not be a good option, both difficult for my wife to drive and also for setting up camp, with a similar size to yours we can visit and stay at the many national parks here in Thailand. Just wanted to give you a thumbs up on your home on the road...

This is a great looking home. The wood ceiling makes a huge difference, bringing nature inside. I've always had cats. The litter pan system is incredible! The fans for your cat and along with the heater are amazing! I have wondered what RV people do if they have pets that must be kept inside when the owners are away. Your sign about your cat being safe is a very smart way to reassure people like myself, who would call police or get a window open to save an animal. FYI: There are now FULL size beds that are EXTRA LONG! Exactly what I need because my queen size is too big but gives me the length I need. The size is Full XL. Amazon sells sheets in that size! My boyfriend is 6'1" and I have a toe issue that needs the extra length. I love elephants; your pillow is fantastic! I liked learning about how you meet people in different locations along the way and are happily told about the best places to go, whatever the type of place it is. No rush. Don't have to miss out because you don't have time due to your schedule. When I was a kid my father rented a Winnebago motor home three times! Watching RV videos brings back the wonderful memories and feelings which have lasted about 50 years! 😃 We took our dog on one of the trips. I hope he didn't get too hot when we left him inside. Didn't seem to. Maybe he was out with us a lot of the time. Well, you two take care and stay safe. Give your cat a pet for me. lol
