As a guitar player myself, I can tell you his talent is absolutely exceptional! In addition to being blind., he is playing rythym, Lead and percussion on one guitar! He is overlaying the lead solo licks on the root of each chord change while strumming the main verse chords AND playing percussion notes on the guitar body!! All without missing a beat!! Hotel California is recorded with 2 guitars and he combines both with percussion!! All without looking at the fretboard ... Wow!!

Hats off..

He passed away on 25 of December. I read about his life and it made me respect him more. He was born blind in a poor family. He had no teacher so he had to listen to a radio until he remembered a song and then he tried to play it. It took him 15 years to learn guitar and it was so hard. He even bled when tried to play guitar and sometimes he cried while learning to play it. His life was special as much as his talent. I do not think Vietnam has another talented guitarist like him in any near future. We can no longer have a chance to hear him play for us anymore 😢

He didn't only play the guitar but drums as well. With a playing card as a pick and he even fades out at the end. Brilliant! Sad to read he's gone.

In my lifetime(I'm 74) I've never enjoyed any guitar player as much as I do this man. I grab my guitar and play rhythm with his music. He is incredible. I never tire of hearing him.

I also play guitar and I know this is a hard song to play, I’ve never witnessed a guitar player like this in my whole life, he’s got a disability but I tell you he’s playing a song that requires 4 guitar players. My respect for him and also the girl did a tremendous job with her voice. 5 Stars

Playing the riffs and strumming simultaneously is a huge mission when you have no eyes to see where the fingers are meant to go on the frets. Great duo strength and family love 🥰😍😘

This is obviously the best Hotel California cover ever. Sometimes visual impairment takes away your sights but at the same time brings a whole new view of indescribable emotions to the world.

Been playing guitar for 50 years, over thirty professionally, and I’ve never seen this approach. This guy has his own thing going.

when I close my eyes, I imagine him with 2 heads and 4 arms, he's like a band: guitar, percussion and timbre controller - I'm Vietnamese so proud of him.

Blind man guitarist is truly gifted and he joyfully did some backup vocals too . You close your eyes it sounded like a 4 piece band with a pretty singer singing in perfect diction. 2021

He's absolutely brilliant he's self taught,and a genius, you are watching someone real' born with magnificent technique,,and the lady is a beautiful singer, these are people, artists you could watch and listen to breathing it all in and never tire,

There is no recording in parallel, especially in the last part of the song is clearly seen that with left hand he uses 2 fingers for the solo and other fingers for background. But sound recording quality is not good, I think it is recorded with iphone.

If anyone is reading this, please know that Hotel California is considered one of the most complicated songs to play on the guitar. The fact that this man learned it by, presumably by ear, is a monumental achievement. The vocals are also FANTASTIC! I am a huge Eagles fan and think everyone did a wonderful job! The guitar work is amazing but the vocals take away from it. She is yelling most of the time. I am all for customizing a song for lyrical style. Yet, her yelling robs the song of the nuance of the lyrics. The original was so craftily done, just as this guitar player has done. You ought to listen carefully to the original and understand how his vocals danced with the music. This man's music danced by himself.

It’s hard for me to pick the most amazing part of this video…torn between the beautiful vocals and the impossible music being played literally blind. So glad I came across this video. Please keep it up! This is proof that music comes from our souls, played thru the human body in the most astonishing ways. Thank you so much for sharing your music!
