I actually forgot how she sang this song. Another powerful performance by Courtney. I wish they never change her original KZread channel to private. She had all those old classics she did with original comments before she got recognized on AGT. I was a treasure to have those original videos to watch. Excellent, Rob! Sam Cooke did this bluesy song some 5 decades ago about racial inequality which is still relevant today. I think Courtney is 12 there, and to sing with the power and emotion of a 35 y/o veteran blues singer is phenomenal! You are right on to say she can sing all genres and always adds signature twists to make even covers her own! Thanks again for her birthday shoutout👏🎂

A really nice reaction Rob, and thank you so much for the shout out for Courtney's birthday. Sweet sixteen only comes once. It's a big day for her. Interestingly enough, this song is one that doesn't get reacted to as often as some of Courtney's others, but is absolutely one of my favorites of hers. This is an iconic song from the 60's civil rights movement and I think what Courtney does with it is absolutely spectacular. Definitely at the top of my list of her earlier performances.
