Couple STUNNED with What I FOUND BURIED under this Overgrown Grass!
I was contacted by a Couple that hasn't been able to trim their overgrown grass in years due to some unforeseen medical issues. Some of this grass and weeds had to be every bit of 15 to 20FT tall. While we were getting soaked by the rain working on this yard, wait until you see how it turned out.

If you do get poison ivy. Go to a health store and get complex pi and put a few drops in your mouth and it works so much better than the pills from the doctor. Also works for poison oak. Gotta love Canada! Now we have hog weeds. It will really mess you up. So right to the shower after every job. Clothes in laundry!

I'm gonna make this as short as possible, I am 70 years old And I've turned into a recluse . Most people's manners really set me off, So many rude people So many narcissistic people. Eric, This small video Has made me break down and cry a couple of times, The kind of kindness that you Show doesn't seem to be around me very often. So I would really like to see that you take care of yourself The human race needs you. It seems that the good souls are outnumbered by the crooked. So I will pray for you, You must have a very big heart. Thank you👍👍👍

What a huge transformation! The brush and vines were slowly reclaiming the whole yard. Now they should be able to maintain it by themselves. Thank you so much for helping those who can’t help themselves, for whatever reason. You are a huge blessing to others, and an inspiration to your viewers. Great video! ❤

Holy snickerdoodles!! This was a jungle. 😲 Those folks were fortunate to receive your help. 🥰👍
Wonderful to help them. What a task you both accomplished. You don’t see many kids that age doing that kind of work. Great job guys.
When dealing with Poison ivy or other Poison plants. Always Have a Pair of Gloves just for them, and some rubber gloves/latex gloves under them. Once done with the Poison Plants, Take those Gloves Off and use some Wet wipes to clean your hands and arms off. Then Put a Different Pair of Gloves on for the Rest of the work. It Really Helps to Reduce the Risk of Getting Rashes or break outs from the Plants.

Use Dawn dishwashing liquid - fill the sink with water and a squirt of Dawn. Wash every area of skin that may have gotten touched by the poison ivy. The Dawn dish soap removes the invisible barrier and removes poison ivy.

Wonderful work!! I dont think that's poison ivy growing on the side of the house. It's Virginia Creeper, which has 5 leaves and is not poisonous. Poison ivy has three leaves. Glad you didn't have to deal with that.

Just the side of the barn/shed would have taken me all day. You/tractor 5 minutes. Love it. Would love to have seen how close you got to the septic system. I don’t think they could have hired anyone for under a grand for all that. Poison ivy jacks the price up and they had a lot of it. Not only did you rescue the yard. You rescued the house. All those vines looked to be eating at the wood and shingles of the house. That could have been major repairs in a couple of years had they let it keep going. You don’t need to go to church to feel good about yourself or whatever it is people get from going to church. Your actions and kindness set a more powerful example for others to follow. Thank you for sharing you good fortune with others.

@@OutdoorswithErik Just a tidbit for you. You can tell exactly where a septic tank is, as the grass always is a lush green color. I found that out when I owned a farm. I had to have my tank pumped, then the well ran dry, so I had to take tuck to spot to get water, and I had to fill 4 50 gallon steel drums, for myself, and my racehorses.
Big Congrats on Hitting 100000 subscribers wow cool you deserve it you have awsome content it really relxes me...me and my lil brothers had a lawn care we did 140 lawns a week so I know how hard you work thanks 100%..

Nice job bud. Did you offer to pressure wash the shed so it doesn't look so ugly? If you ever get in a spot like this and where you find the general area of a septic tank but want to know where it is, here's a tip. Take a 5 foot piece of round bar cut a foot off one end and weld it on the end at a T. Then grind the other end to a dull point. There you have a probe. The last construction company i worked for always had 2 of then that we used to find the exact placement of the old tank that had to be removed without digging holes everywhere to find it. Keep up the good work 👍
