I’m confused at why the fridge doesn’t work when the bus is not level. I’ve never heard of that issue before. Super cute conversion with a great design! Love the colors, openness, style and functionality. Kudos to the ones who did the conversion/design. Happy for you to be able to do what you love taking your home on wheels with you.

With the multi powered fridge units the propane circulates the coolant within the system. If you are not level from front to back, the coolant will not be able to circulate properly to cool the fridge. This can actually permanently damage your fridge as well as the coolant will eat through the lines.

That is the case inside of a home. Your fridge has to be level in order to work (properly) so in a bus it must be level to get the propane or gas into it.

Sort of like a house fridge, they never work well again if they're laid down, like if an idiot friend helping you move decides to lay it down in the van to save gas and a trip.

This is very common in RVs. My mom's RV has the same requirement for the fridge to work.

Very well designed! You did a great job!

I like how greatfull they are about there life and opportunity.

On one of the cons he had….We keep a candle in the bathroom, it helps with the smell when we use it at times. It actually kills any smells when you blow it out from the sulfur.

She is such a cute storyteller. Some of these bus interviews are painful to watch, not this one. They both tell a great story.

Its funny what time and circumstances happen cuz 30 yrs ago, one was considered homeless if living in a vehicle. Now its amazing. I have a hippie/gypsy cousin who lived in her bus so I always thought that'd be cool. 😀👍✌💙

I don't know them personally of course, but I have a strong sense from initial impressions that this is a couple that will survive life's vicissitudes in tact

nice layout! great couple. have fun on your travels! feeling the need to share the stovetop popcorn recipe because you don't need a microwave to have popcorn. take a large (completely dry) saucepan. my fave ingredients are: 3 tablespoons coconut oil, 1/3 cup popcorn kernels, preferred seasoning to taste (I recommend nutritional yeast). heat coconut oil until it melts, add 3-4 kernels and wait for the 4 kernels to pop, then add rest of kernels, cover the pot remove from heat count to about 30, then return to heat keeping the lid slightly ajar until the popping slows to a few second apart, remove from heat and turn off stove, shake into bowl, season to taste. this makes two quarts. enjoy!

A surprising layout! I've never seen a kitchen like that before. Also, the space where they put there gym is confusing. What was there? It seems to be some valuable real estate, yet they aren't lacking for much else. It's perfect for them. They could remove the washer and build a simple cabinet there, for storage. Also, the 'throne room' is actually beautiful. The sink looks vintage. They sound beautiful together, their harmonies are incredible!

Very nice bus, homey and bright, well laid out. Kudos to the builders. Air dry is super high spin, designed more for lighter fabrics. That is definitely not a combo machine, the drum is wrong (it would be front loading), and that is why the bus came with a clothes drying rack.

I'd have to have my ginormous full size machine with me. At any cost. Lol. I have 2 dogs. Much laundry. Could use grey water recycling unit.

Very beautiful bus. But have to say as a long time professional driver not being able to see everything on your front passenger side is incredibly dangerous and am shocked you have not been ticketed for obstructed view. Please be careful and rethink that entrance door.

Just a suggestion on the uneasy upper slides, Go to Jo-Ann fabrics or Michaels are or even Walmart and go to the sewing section they have clear wax crayons that you can rub down in that crack area and it will help the doors slide much easier for you. 🥂 Cheers on the beautiful bus.

Best conversion I've seen!

The dryer probably works, it’s just that there’s no heat so it will take forever to dry your clothes. They’re good to use if you really need clothes done and you’re not near a laundromat

A portable tub is cheap to purchase and good to fill at your leisure with hot hot water and have a long hot soak. Just set it up either in the living room or outside and you could wash clothes in it and hang them on a portable hanger. But the tubs come in all sizes from hugh to tiny and come in tin or rubber. The tin ones are really pretty. Good luck guys, nice bus!😎

Use fabric softner or white vinegar in the rinse cycle so your line dried clothing doesn't get hard.

For RV/Bus/Nomadi life, You must do pre planning. For example, that washer and dryer combo. I'd be using. I hate laundromats. The money you spend on laundromats which I hear is pretty steep these days, that cold be $20-$30 toward a night at an RV park for $30-$50 a night where you can top off your water tanks, drain your gray and black water, and using shore power, do your laundry that night.

Try lavender porta pak in your black tank. These aid in odors and breaking down waste. You ll thank me.... lol ( the lavender is the best one so stick with that one )

Something might be wrong. Are you not driving it much? Spark plugs? Tune-up? Something is definitely amiss. That cost me 650.00 for a tune and new plugs on a Mercury Sable/same as Ford Taurus. Drive it on the freeway a bit. That helps. If it's all city or you don't drive much, it messes with it. I was getting 13-14. My HEMI Challenger was getting much better. They're the same size/weight (ish), but the HEMI is a V8.

I don't think you need anything, but it might be weight-dependent. state-by-state. If it's titled as an RV, already then that's good. Trying to remember if it's 14k pounds or what before you need another license class

How are you making money on the road? Use fabric softener in your washer and then air dry and hang out clothes.

Get rid of the washing machine you can you used the space for 🐕 too many windows
