Charlie Pride - Kiss An Angel Good Morning Tee & Tasha ... Charley Pride was the first ever black musician inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Sadly he passed away (86 years old) from COVID late last year.

Blanco (Bennie) is from Atlanta, GA and he is AWESOME! He's doing what they said he couldn't do and that is sing the country music he loves. He's a serious vocalist and has magnificent range. Hes bringing a whole new genre to country as well as keeping the hard cores.

It’s been a few years, but there was this bar in Midland (Texas) that I went to a few times, and this song totally reminds me of it. My wife and I would go, have some drinks, dance, and do whatever. It was a super cool place with an outdoor area (I think it even had a small pool out back). Nobody gave a crap who you were, it was super relaxed… like this song. Good times.

The guy from Hootie & The Blowfish, Darius Rucker...he has been doing country for a while and has had a couple hits.

Who's Blanco? Tee had said he didn't know any black country artists - 3 months ago. Does Blanco have a rock band? Leave Hootie be ... he has nothing to do with Dr.Suess !! 🙄 Are you my mother? The younger dancers in this video are kids who did the "tik tok" dance challenge to Blancos song. The young man in the red overcoat is probably the most famous. Love this song. Upbeat and catchy

Charlie pride first African American artist to be country musicians. He won first cma as a black artist and Loretta Lynn presented his award. She is a great singer and writer too. She wrote coal miners daughter and you ain't woman enough to take my man. I love Charlie pride because he makes big and builds a home in his home town when he makes it. Dolly parton did something similar. She gave back to her town and created jobs for her community.

charlie pride is the first black country singer i know of, he was so so to me but loved by many. darius rucker (from hootie and blowfish--shout out to a south carolina home boy!) switched to country at some point, i liked him in pop and still in country. but the voice i love is tony jackson. such a great voice! i love hearing him sing the george jones song, the grand tour but many others too. oh also hootie does some really nice Christmas songs. anyway these are the black country singers i know of to check out.

I don't know who actually singing the song.... but all or mostly all videos are super cute , sweet, and all around fill good vibes and warm a person heart..... which WE ALL NEED MORE OF !! You need to listen to Darius Rucker. I really like him. There’s actually quite a few black artists and country music. Country music welcomes anyone that wants to share a message because country music is about storytelling. To really have good storytelling like you’re getting country music you have to go back to old blues music in their 20s and 30s maybe even 40s.

So another song with this same feel is 'Good Time' by Alan Jackson. I think you guys would love it! Also Blanco did 'Please don't take the girl' with Tim Mcgraw, and it's pretty good! New subscriber, just found you guys a couple of weeks ago and truly enjoying the journey! I grew up on country, but since I have a 'permanent tan' I caught a lot of grief for it, but it was okay because I knew what you guys are learning....once you go country.......you're country for life. 😁😇 Especially like you guys mentioned on Dolly's 'Coat of many colors' reaction, if you can relate via life experiences.
