Coup de mer sur le port de St. Laurent du Var le 8 novembre 2011
Une forte houle de sud-sud-est associé à un fort vent de sud-est s'est amplifié au cours de la journée, élevant ainsi le niveau de la mer, et créant des vagues déferlantes qui ont submergées le port et le chantier naval de Saint-Laurent-du-Var le 8 novembre 2011.
Plusieurs bateaux ont été endommagé et cinq ont coulé dans le port

Les vagues ont été produite en raison d'une tempête subtropicale (extrêmement rare en Europe du sud car cette tempête appartient a la famille des ouragan, ce n'est donc pas une simple tempête.) qui a touché le Var et les Alpes Maritimes.

Why would one leave one's vehicle parked where it would be repeatedly inundated by salt water? And why would one run out into the dangerous area where the large waves were washing through? Idiots and fools.
