Dang really? Us west Virginians as like the opposite, we pronounce things like t and k and c very harsh but letters like d are just silent Take cardinal for example, we say carn’i’nal lmao

@@Pascella Yeah, but its not really noticed because it still sounds like the word (and everyone in California does it so we don't usually correct ourselves-) But I remember talking to a friend from Michigan and she was so confused why I keep saying Tennessee as Ennessee. I felt so embarrassed 😭

@@insane7645 Lmao- Yup, michiganders will do that. SPECIFICALLY Michiganders- all of my direct family from my mums side is in Michigan, and GOD do they hate spelling/grammar issues. I have a problem where I spell words like color and flavor like colour and flavour because it just feels more natural- that’s the British spelling, and I once sent a letter to my aunt in Michigan and she sent back her own letter, but also the letter I sent her with various spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall English mistakes- Don’t worry, nobody outside of Michigan is gonna correct you I on things like that unless you go to Pennsylvania
