Actually, part of the thing in the ch fandom is by dead countries being the flag that people remember them by. So while CSA's flag may be similar to VA, it's not. CSA's character just follows the rule. I'm pretty sure this is canon

Oh well a little girl stabbed her elder sister and said that her big sis is safe from the zombies and was about to kill her baby sister just like her older sis, and the mother told her to look at the flowers the little girl kept saying that she was sorry but the mom said "just please look at the flowers" and sadly shot the little girl.

I'm sorry, but this war(Russia vs Ukraine) stared Ukraine. They were bombing Donbass since 2014. Our government tried to stop this with diplomatic. But NATO and USA continued to supply weapons to Kiev. We had no choise, but to invade in Ukraine.
