Hi i am a native Icelander and there are few things you didnt get right, while yes Swedes did settle Iceland, vast majority of the settlers were Norwegians and the first one to settle and actually stay there till death was a Norwegian named Íngólfur Arnarson. Second is that Iceland before its modern day flag had an older flag (Google Icelandic Commonwealth flag). And third is that you made one scene show Iceland having a crown when in fact Iceland was never a monarchy it was always a libertarian country with no ruler (before being conquered by Norway). Some extras you could have added that are important to Icelandic history are Cod wars and 1784 Laki volcanic eruption. Otherwise a good video. Love from Iceland 🇮🇸❤
