I’m native Turkish speaker, sorry but in this video has some mistakes.1:32 actually we usually don’t say Hindistanlı, we usually say “Hint” for say Indian in Turkish. 4:26 in Turkish there is no language that called “Polonyaca”, we usually say “Lehçe” because in old Turkish, “Lehistan” meant Poland and “Leh” meant Polish -this is still used (albeit a little, mostly called Polanyalı)- but polish (the language) is not used, we still call Lehçe for Polish. 1:38 the language name isn’t “Urdu” we say “Urduca”.

I just realized some typos in the video: ❌Polanyaca ✅Polonyaca / Lehçe ❌Urdu ✅Urduca Sen nerelisin? Hangi dili konuşuyorsun?

Well, 'Hindustan' was giving by persia. In ancient times, the main civilization emerged and flourished near the river of Indus. I is pronounced as H in persia, so they called that statement Hindus and the territory, Hindustan.

My mother tongue is romanian...i have been living in Italy for 20 years so i speak italian too(parlo italiano come madre lingua) ...i try to speak as much as i can english too ...i speak spanish too...and now i try to learn some turkish(inşallah 🙏) 🇮🇹❤🇹🇷 ...cause since i was a baby my parents brought me on hollydays with them in Turkey....so i always heard the turkish language ...i've always been familiar with it...

Actually tagalog is a dialect, our official language is called Filipino. We tend to use it interchangeably. The tagalog spoken in Batangas (vocabulary wise) is different for tagalog speakers in Manila.

Merhaba Tomasz! Lehçe has 2 meanings. It means ''dialect'' and ''Polish''. So ''Polonyaca'' and ''Lehçe'' are same but ''Polonyaca'' is used more than ''Lehçe''

@Nadir Hikmet Kuleli Yes your answer is correct tbh I never heard someone saying ‘Polonyaca’ for Polish. People say ‘Lehçe’ and for Polish people we use either ‘Leh’ or ‘Polonyalı’

Im glad to hear that! Your sentence is correct but I think you should say "İspanyolca" instead of "İspanyol"

Really? Das wage ich zu bezweifeln. Sounds like a sociolect amongst Turkish immigrants jokingly or derogatively referring to a German. (Because only Germans would behave very stereotypically German, and only foreigners would notice that). After decades of growing up and living in Berlin, I have not come across that expression. Not even once.

I felt it necessary to mention one thing here, India has no national language. Only Hindi is not spoken in India. 22 languages, including Punjabi, Bengali, Malayalam, Urdu, Tamil, have official language status. Hindi is unintelligible to most of the Indian population.
