Counting Crows - Live 2023 - Full Concert (15 Songs) - 2nd Row - HD Audio - Shure Mic - July 5, 2023

Музыка

Counting Crows - 7/5/2023 - Live @ SPAC, Saratoga Springs, NY
This is most of the entire show. I recorded 15 songs total, and they are preserved here in order with chapter markers. I recorded with a Shure Mic for better audio quality. I wasn't quite able to get every song, I missed a handful due to technical issues.
I have been a fan of Counting Crows since the 90s. August and Everything After was on very heavy rotation, I memorized the words to every song. The subsequent Recovering the Satellites and This Desert Life were solid as well. This was my first time seeing them live. It was a damn good show. Highly recommended.
Please check out my channel for more great live recordings from other bands.
Adam Duritz - lead vocals, keyboards
David Immerglück - guitars, mandolin, backing vocals
David Bryson - rhythm guitar, backing vocals
Dan Vickrey - lead guitar, backing vocals
Charlie Gillingham - keyboards, backing vocals
Jim Bogios - drums, percussion, backing vocals
Millard Powers - bass, rhythm guitar, backing vocals

Adam's voice is significantly stronger now than the lives i saw in the 90s, his pitch is spot on. August & Everything After is a masterpiece, and the soundtrack to my marriage dissolving back in the mid 90s. The loss, the sadness, the hope and excitement of fresh new days, light, freedom, the loneliness... Thank you for posting this.

I’ve been into counting crows since their first album, they have been with me all the way since then on and off like a friend you don’t talk to for a while but then you see them and you talk for hours like you never missed a day. I’m 52 now and sometimes I can’t listen to them because it brings heartbreaking moments to the now and I just can’t handle it.

I totally agree with you! I’m 46, and I have fallen in and out of love to so many of their songs. They are like my comfort food. When I need them, they are always there for me. I am so grateful for them. I’m pretty sure they have saved my life…or at least played the soundtrack to the montages of my best and worst moments.

But now and then I'm miss 'em so much...and so I've been lucky enough to find hidden gems like this show and especially their version of 'Miami' and I'm moved to tears (once again) over this version of 'Miami' in here it all comes to some kind of perfection - ; the vocal work and the guitar work - even the guitarsolo;) - in this song captured the touch of being alive so very beautiful... Thanx a lot Counting Crows and peace ✌️
