Wish I was able to have my 57 vw bus back that I had to sacrifice and give up about 20 years ago. I still have all the paperwork when I bought at dealership and papers. 😔

the comedian fluffy would love that place , Gabriel already has a Warehouse full of VW buses and Beatles collection ,

Bryce is super cool and it was great how much he appreciated the work that went into the remodel

All I can say is WOW! Being an ex hippy and having owned several VW busses I would have been so proud to drive this beauty to Woodstock.

@@henry7765 In a strange way I am still a hippy. Unlike most my age I never conformed to society's demands. I live off-grid growing my own food and pot. I'm 69 with terminal cancer and I'm growing my own herbs to combat its effect on my body. So far I've beaten my death date by three years. I do pay taxes but that's about all.

You are blind. It has pinstripes. You can see them at 19:19 on the sky blue after it transitions from white to sky blue. It's not a reflection because the other side also shows the same pattern.

Don't usually like having the seller at the reveal as there's never the emotional aspect but that guy was brilliant and really seemed to appreciate the work put in to it... Great show, keep up the fantastic work.

The custom work is excellent .

Very interesting video guys, I used to drive the split screen van versions of these very many moons ago now and still think they are a fabulous drive. I later went on to what I believe is known as the "balcony" version. At the time they were viewed as the fastest commercial vehicle on the road I seem to recall. Both wonderful vehicles and thanks for this great reintro to these amazing machines.

Back in the Sixties, that was the bus that brought all of us kids to church, and rollerskating. A lot of great memories in that Blue and white bus... great job on doing that VW bus justice.

He's been around Danny so long, he talks and acts like him now lol

Now at age 72 I’ve been “without Bus” since 1977! Been jonesin’ for one ever since. Of the 5, my fave was a 1966 bus with a Porsche engine, bored out with many upgrades. Great Rides and Amazing Eye Candy! THX

Back in the 80's in the San Gabriel Valley on the LA area a bus club by the name of California bus boys exact the same colors,awww bugs and mini trucks,i was 8 yrs old but great times to live in el monte california.Awsome job guys.

Yeah I would have thought they would have bought two or three since they drove that far but those are neat you just don't see many of them

I would add a solar panel and remove the gas tank. Then add a Mid-Century Modern couch.

I used to buy those busses for $500 all day. Boomers have now destroyed the market on them. My 16 year old wanted one, and now you can't find rust bucket basket cases that don't run for less than $10,000. It's stupid.

Im in the process of saving my money up with my hard working job so i can take my 1952 Buick super out to their shop and have a full restoration done on it

That is a classic and VERY expensive Hot Wheels van. They had the surfboards sticking out of window which made it too top heavy and needed a redesign, hence its rarity

I've always wanted a Bug Bus and I could have probably had at least a couple in the 70s and 80s when the price wasn't too bad but as usual I let a few of em slip by me thinking they'd always be several of em around. It seems like they just vanished lol...People started collecting em and I missed my chances of getting at least one that was running and driving for cheap cheap, as is 500 or less. I remember seeing em everywhere and they didn't take alot of maintenance to keep em goin..In the 90s I's in North Carolina and I seen a whole complete different thing with how they built the Buses and the VW bugs cause the horsepower was off the chart and it didn't take alot to get em to the level they made em to be lol..I got dusted by a Bug and that's when I had to have one and I got one for a really good price but I didn't make it back home with it cause I ended up letting it go and I've regretted it every since lol

Watching this in a video sbd not being there in person, i still had to put my cheap sunglasses on. That chrome was blinding me. 🕶
