The flaw here is that Constantine later advocated for the Arianist theology but the early Christians did not change their position on Jesus being God. So the argument that the bishops agreed to placate Constantine is very questionable.

Except... they did. Constantine later reverted to become an Arian, but that doesn't stop the fact that he considered this "a minor issue" (his words in a letter to Arius and Athanasius) and at the council pressured the bishops to adopt the creed.

Critics are always quick to say that the pope wasn't even at the council. But was constantine himself there?! You see, he wasn't and that doesn't prove anything. Fact is that the council reaffirmed and codified what was already orthodox. So how do you know that the bishops "secretely" remained Arians and continued with that doctrine since its wide spread meant that changing the teaching in their various diocese would have been a very difficult task. So then, what was the teaching of the apostles before the council?! Therein you'll find the truth. Then you'll realize that the council wasn't really saying anything new.

How do you know that they DIDN'T still believe in it? Before this, many of them DID believe that he wasn't a "god". Then their emperor, that basically gave them free reigns, collected them all in once place and "suggested" that it would be better for the church if they agreed. Basically - it's all complete crap that was nothing more than 316 rich old white men deciding what the best lies to spread or "holy canon" in order to keep their power.

They knew what was up, so why take the arduous trek, especially if you were inclined to vote "nay"? I also wonder if it was invitation according to rank/position, or some other factor, such as a year or two journey would not be conducive to having your entire leadership away. But hey, I've seen lower turnouts in city elections when the booth is next door to the voters.

Unfortunately, this vid is filled with partial facts, spun to appear worse than reality. For example, it is true that Sylvester (the Pope) did not attend the council. It’s not because it was kept separate from him or he from it, but because he was elderly and ill. He wouldn’t have survived the trip and the strain. He did however send envoys to argue on his behalf. So he was fully invested in the outcome.

But the fact is Jesus is just a Prophet of God, not a divine or son of god...

Id like to point out so that there is no confusion this isn't when Christians all of a sudden decided that Jesus is God. There is evidence dating back even earlier that shows that early early christians worshiped Jesus as GOD and have already claimed him to be GOD. Even in the Bible Paul writes to the church of Colossae to correct them because they started believing and teaching heresy. For clarity, the only body keeping to the agreed upon teachings is the Orthodox of today. Everyone else strayed, reneged, and teaches heresies.

So Jesus' divinity was decided by a bunch of people who were called together by an emperor and warned that disagreeing with him would be punished. Missing a TON of information. And quite misleading. For example, constantine was not a christian at the time, he was more interested in keeping the peace than anything else. As well the churches, as properly noted, had just endured years of significant persecution for their beliefs. To suggest that they were now some how caving into constantine's pressure is laughable. Their votes were based on their original, historical, orthodox beliefs. A proper, unbiased, investigation of the historical facts is sadly missing in this video.

Objectively the Roman empire had quelled the Jewish uprising in AD70 when Jerusalem was destroyed. Tje Jews were a problem! Constantine had a choice; either promote a Jewish based religion that centered around a dead carpenter who meekly and mildly taught us to 'love our enemies'. The council of Nicaea (and therefore Constantine) did not decide what the scripture was. The biblical canon was not even discussed at Niceae, you got that from a poorly written fiction book by Dan Brown. Also, After the council most of Constantine's close advisors were Arian bishops like Eusebius of Nicodemia. So the trinitarians were not compelled by Constantine, they were eventually opposed by him (see Athanasius' exile, for example)

Why would anybody let politicians decide what is true. It says a lot that they talked about it and voted. I don’t hear anything about fasting and prayer. Imagine politicians of our day deciding what truth is?

The word " Christian (s)" is NOWHERE found in the scripture. The word used in the scripture is: " Anointed ONE (S) ". Acts 11: 26 says : " Anointed ONES " . Acts 26: 28 says : " Anointed ONE ". 1 Peter 4: 16 says : " Anointed ONE ". The Christians destroyed all the scriptures when they translated the scripture into the bible. YAHWEH wrote the scripture from Genesis to Revelation in Hebrew. Yahweh does everything TWICE. Once in the old covenant and once in the New covenant. Yahweh does NOT change. We know for a fact that the old covenant scripture was written in Hebrew. Therefore the New covenant scripture must have ALSO been written in Hebrew. Evidence proves this to be so as well. The Christians translated the scripture into Greek to put their greek god jesus in the bible. Everything that comes from the Greek is evil. The Name of THE Creator YAHWEH is written nearly 7,000 times in the scripture. YAHWEH is THE NAME above all names. Yahshua is The Name above all names UNDER heaven. Acts 4: 12. There is NO person in the scripture called ' jesus christ '. The letter " J " only came into existence less than 500 years ago. Look it up. All who call upon THE NAME Yahweh shall be saved. k0smon The scripture testifies against you. The scripture tells us that Yahshua will return on the 10TH day of Tishri at 3 PM in the YEAR 2,000. 6,000 years from creation. Yahweh CANNOT change this date. For it is written: The scripture CANNOT be broken. We have NOT reached the year 2,000 YET. Gen. 6: 3 is the year of the second coming. ( NOT man's lifespan). From Creation to Abraham was 2,000 years . 40 jubilees. From Abraham to the 1ST coming was 2,000 years. 40 jubilees. From the 1ST coming to the 2ND coming will be 2,000 years. 40 jubilees. 40 jubilees + 40 jubilees + 40 jubilees = 120 jubilees. 2,000 years + 2,000 years + 2,000 years = 6,000 years.Bless you.

This Pauline version of Christianity is 1000% Blasphemy and not accurate at all. Read the Gospel of Barnabas in the original Aramaic language and not any of this garbage Latin and polluted "King" alterations of the respected ancient spoken word gospel scriptures. Jesus does not hold divinity, nor was crucified on the cross, and he will return...probably very soon.

This is a false biased video.

Arian was correct and it was more closer to original Jewish beliefs which was the religion of Jesus .. Jesus was Jewish .. a torch bearer of monotheism. He never knew Paul the imposter started preaching on his own with defective knowledge and unauthorized claiming that he saw a vision.. on the other hand it was James and peter who were the true disciples of Jesus during his missionary days on earth. Paul the impostor started preaching .. never met Jesus, never saw him, never knew him started preaching his defective interpretation and he was from the Jewish father and mother a pagan Greek .. he was a pagan influenced person without proper understanding of Judaism and it’s rigid believe in Abrahamic monotheism that God is only ONE and He is alone and he has no wife or son or daughter. He is all alone., all the holy persons are his prophets including Jesus. It seems that Paul had rebelled against Peter, James and Judaism on the whole and was arrogant.. he gave up home with the Jews and started preaching to non Jews (Romans, Greek etc), and made huge concessions to the religion and placed no terms and conditions to enter the religion of Jesus.. he relaxed eating of pork, took it easy on circumcision, oath kind of a worship, Jewish rituals, basically sidelined the Torah (Old Testament), he interpreted his opinions, his thoughts on his own without authority.. this is why today Christians are in deep trouble because they have been taught to NOT OBEY LAWS OF Moses but to only love Jesus.. Love without respect is not love, it’s like being a fan.. or star struck 🤩 Love comes with respecting the laws of Jesus and Jesus came to confirm the laws of Moses and Abraham.. not reject them.. but to implement them, confirm them., That’s what prophet Mohammad did.. he confirmed the true laws of Jesus and confirmed his prophet hood, and confirmed the laws of Moses and Abraham
