I binge watched all your Jim Jefferies videos last night soo good! Oh Jim! If you love Jim you’ll love Tim Minchin.. equally clever Aussie comedian, Tim is a global phenomenon and he was Bo Burnhams inspiration. I’d suggest Thank You God or Storm to start with. I promise you won’t be disappointed and I can see you going down a rabbit hole like you did with Jim. Tim is a genius, comedian and also musician who has written the full musical scores for Matilda the musical and Groundhog Day. Also did you know Jim Jefferies started out as an opera singer? Had to give it up due to vocal cord nodules.

When you mentioned the quail, it made me think of something that I tried once that I had to tell you about. I won a pass to a BBQ festival years ago, and one of the foods that I got to try was probably one of the best things I have ever had. One of the stalls had a bacon wrapped, jalapeno stuffed quail. It was amazing. I'm not a big fan of jalapeno usually, but this was great. I just wish that the place that made it had actually been in my town. I definitely would have been a regular customer of theirs.

Normally in Michelin restaurants, when they say the chef made this, it means the head chef actually took a part in the cooking of the dish, usually the head chef has very little to do with the actual cooking on a day to day basis.. they normally do all the plating along with expediting tables. Smaller restaurants, like the one I’m a chef de partie at (essentially a station chef, meaning I do a lot of the cooking), will have the head chef on the line a lot more

Good channel so far! It’s newer but so far the quality seems to be pretty nice-You guys seem like pretty chill dudes too. I’d love to see some Louis CK reactions-particularly his “Being broke” stand up video (the full 10 min version), Tom Segura (“the first 48” and “BIKES!”, etc) and Dave Chappelle (“drug sniffing dog” and/or any of his Stand-Up -particularly his older stuff) would be cool too-Thanks for the content guys!

I just had to say, when they mentioned quail, it made me think of the only time that I ever tried quail. I had won a free pass to a BBQ festival, and one of the stalls had something that I had never tried before. It was a bacon wrapped, jalapeño stuffed quail. I am not much of a jalapeño person, but that was one of the best foods I have ever tried.

@@jmbfin4372 Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of jalapeños, before that, but it was delicious. The only frustrating thing was that the place that made them wasn't in my town, and I don't drive.

We had a high school prom organized by the students here in our last year of high school. Hired a place nearby, hired a DJ, plenty of alcohol, etc. One guy from my class bought some whiskey in a night store(this is Belgium, alcohol allowed from 16, prom began at midnight and would last till the first buses and trains began around 6am) and with 3 friends walked to the location of the prom. Guy just passed out drunk before the party started. Next day in class we had a lot of fun with him. It's sort of expected that by 18 you know your own damn limits.

I just realized these restaurants are basically just glorified buffets. A few bites of this, a few bites of that... maybe just one bite of this to try it, then about five or six bites of this, it's really good, have you tried it, then a few bites of this, oh and some soup.

There are different species of quail found in the USA. The bobwhite is the most common and found in mostly southern states but as far north as Kansas. Hunt them every fall along with pheasants.

  • @Cruxador

The quail in the US is totally unrelated to the old world quail which is used for eggs and meat. Old world quails are related to chickens.
