I can't believe that you speak such perfect Slovak! Thank you for showing beautiful Slovakia to so many viewers. The government must strive to keep it's natural beauty.

I've been there when I was child! It was a "school trip" 😂 I love that place so much! So many memories 💝

I've been there too on a school trip, when I was in 2nd grade. I love this place and next to the castle, there's a Zoo, which is the oldest one in Slovakia

I've lived here in Slovakia my whole life and never visited this castle BUT I'm going there this Saturday finally!! 😁 Nice video btw.

Ahhh Bojnice always brings me beautiful experiences from mu childhood. It was about 30 years ago when we visited that Zoo and one stranger told us that those bears are magical and he was right! They did for little treat anything! They were listening to orders like "stand on two feets, do somersault, etc.". Later that day i felt like king when there were 100 people watching at bears and one little boy (me) was giving them orders and bears were listening ♥️♥️♥️. I wonder whether those bears on video are still same bears i met at that time, but most likely not 🥲. Have a lovely weekend Kimberly 😀

Hi Kim! I've actually been there. A lot of people say the castle is the most beautiful castle in Europe. Btw Kim, you should go inside, it's absolutely beautiful in there. Also, the castle was actually built above a cave! The cave is a water source for the well. The castle was actually built in 1113 (12th century) which is really surprising! Anyways, you should go visit the east part of the country. Go visit Slovensky raj, but if you don't like walking I don't recommend you going there. Well, have a nice day Kim! 😉

As somebody already said, if you don't like zoos, visit Malkia Park. It's not a zoo but it's a park where they keep animals in so much better conditions compared to zoos and many of their inhabitants (majority) are rescued either from European zoos or from private owners. The experience is so much better than in a zoo and it's so nice to see all the rescued animals or animals that were replaced to a good place!

We've been there some 6 or 7 years ago. I strongly recommend visiting Bojnice.

I love Bojnice and Bojnický zámok. I am from Prievidza so I go there many times. Amazing video. ❤️❤️

Kamusta Kim! Thank you the pretty video again. Bojnice Castle is one of the most beautiful in Slovakia, that is a fact. But in my opinion, the most beautiful is Spiš Castle, although it is a ruin. There comes a magical feeling to me. In a moment you will be a professional guide around Slovakia. Good luck!

Spiš Castle is definitely in my list! I will go there for sure. I'm excited to see the castles here in Slovakia. There are so many of them so I will have lots of traveling to do 😂

On the top of the hill there is very nice rooftop view to the area

Absolutely, your best video. Because you were in my homeland. I am from Prievidza and the town of Bojnice is distant "čo by kameňom dohodil". It's a pity that I was not in Slovakia as well. I'd be your tour guide :)

You have to go inside... it is worth the visit. BTW. there are meny more such beautiful castles all around the Europe. But in Slovakia Bojnice is one of the most beautiful.... and it has a cave under the castle too.

Bojnice majú úžasný zámok bol som tam pár krát

If I had known you would be in my neighborhood , we could have met for ice-cream. The castle is one of the most beautiful places in Central Europe. I like Orava because it's more logical for a defence but this castle has a huge print. Follow the wall

That's why I rather support sanctuaries, but also some zoos keep animals which are not able to go back to the wild. Check Malkia Park, beautiful one😉

Ale to su len mury zrucaniny. Krajsi je oravský hrad. Hrady su vojenske objekty zamky boli na pohodlne byvanie.

@@andrejs1427 ano to mas pravdu, Oravsky hrad je nadherny. Ale Spissky hrad je zasa nieco ine a nesuhlasim ze su to ruiny. Spissky hrad ma krasnu a dalekosiahlu historiu, je v nom vyborne muzeum a tie Vysoke Tatry v pozadi mu dodavaju iskru. Ja mam rad obe hrady, aj Spissky aj Oravsky a ak by som sa mal rozhodnut, ktory je krajsi, neodpoviem ti. Mam ich oba rad a rad tam chodim. Su to hrady ale ako su krasne tak su aj rozdielne a to je na nich pekne.

My sme tam boli minuly rok cez leto a sprievidca tam nebol

when it comes to zoo or circus, i share the same opinion as you... but there is a difference between a zoo, and "zoo"... but frankly, there are probably very few zoos where its really a meaningful life for those animals...

I really like Bojnický zámok, i was there .... i dont know, 5-6 times? The most fun was going there in middle of night - yea, middle of night, there was ghost castle tour. Like normal castle tour, but with creepy sounds, ghosts, scary ppls jumping out and screaming :-D i think it was at halloween.

Ahoj , ďakujem za info určite sa tam ešte raz vrátim. 😊

veľmi veľmi dávno sme sa vybrali na ten festival štrašidiel, čakala nás tam niekoľkohodinová rada na vstup do hradu, tak sme to zalomili do ZOO, odvtedy som tam nešiel.

Chod pozriet aj zamok Smolenice. Vytvoril ho ten istý architekt a preto je druhý najkrajší na Slovensku.

Nabuduce nezabudni ist pozret na rozhladnu Čajka v oblakoch. Je tam lahky pristup autom a vyhlad na siroke okolie, teda ak sa nebojis vysok. :-) A z hora dole sa da smiknut na smiklavke.

I grew up in the area and I remember going to the ghosts and monsters festival every year and enjoying it very much as a kid. I also have been to the Zoo many times and rememer the eyes of the elephants were one of the saddest thing I ever saw. They seemed so apathetic and basically dead inside and their yard was so fkn small. I was so angry when I foud out a few years ago they plan to bring many more elephants there and build a huge pavilion for them. On their website now there is only a sentence about a reconstruction of the pavilion so I hope it will not come to bringing more elephants. I haven't been there in many years and I probably won't go there ever again because I don't want to support such cruelty. It's so endlessly sad, especially for the big animals like bears, big cats, apes, monkeys and elephants because you can see the sadness and frustration in their eyes or their weird behaviour. But ultimately it's sad for all of them, because all of them should just have so much more space and not one of them should live in a fkn cage. Sorry for the rant. Other than that I love Bojnice.

I share your thoughts, I actually thought I'd see the elephants there but there were nothing. Not sure what happened to them. But you are right, other than that, Bojnice is a great experience.

celý pavilón slonov je zmenený, na Slovensku milujeme zvieratá , ako živé bitosti ... :-) " nový zákon prijatý Národnnou radou Slovenska " po transformácii zo socializmu Slovensko napreduje míľovými krokmi k pokroku a humanizmu a /animizmu / :-)

Hi Kimberly. So I see you got there late, well that's Slovakia historical objects closing early found that earlier. I been in Bojnice many times, too bad you didn't castle from inside you have to make another trip with Dano. Lipa (Linden) of King Matej Korvin many castles in Slovakia been royal hunting castles. Linden is also Slovak national tree reaching very long age can be up to millennium. Not far from Bratislava you have castle Cerveny Kamen, it's worth to see it and it's not far away. Bojnice is guess one of the nicest castles in Slovakia. Slovakia because of its history don't have many standing castles we always been in turmoil defending Western Europe from Turks, uprising of Hungarian nobility against Imperial court and Tartars. Hope situation will get much better in Slovakia and will open up so you can travel north. Oravsky podzamok is worth to see and also city of Levoca and Spissky hrad but you need time and safe environment. Your Slovak is getting better I can hear you saying softly very nice with no accents 👍 So I'm glad to see you you make trip even only half of it but it's reason to get back. Wish you guys all the best

Come to us at Uhrovský hrad and you will see the most beautiful castle in Slovakia. It's such a Slovak Sleeping Beauty.

Kim, mohla by si navštívit hrad Liptovský Hrádok, je to v regióne Liptov, vedľa hradu je tam aj postavený kaštieľ, ja som ho videla zvonka, ale nie zvnútra. Rada by som tam šla.

Castle Bojnice is very old, but this romantic reconstruction to the mansion was made in 19.century. So it is a bit trumpery, and no castle anymore since that. For me, Oravsky castle is most magic castle in Slovakia looks maybe more ordinary, also Trenčiansky doesnt look bad. Under the old tree, king Matthias Corvinus used to have some diplomacy meetings.

Na zamku byvaju rozpravkove prehliadky a aj horrorove tie nie su urcene pre deti. Prehliadky aj v angličtine. Na záberoch námestia je v pozadi vyhladna Čajka. Aj tam sa oplati ist pozrieť.

Na jednu stranu ZOO na mna vplyva smutnym dojmom (kedze tie zvierata ziju v zajati) ale na druhu stranu zas pozitivnym (niektore zo zvierat boli zachranene a neprezili by v divocine). Je to sranda… kedze byvam nedaleko bojnic, tak sa na bojnicky zamok uz ani nepozeram, ale pripomenula si mi, aky je ten bojnicky zamok specialny a krasny a mal by som sa nan pozerat castejsie. Dakujem :)

If you like castles, make a trip to Southern Bohemia - Južné Čechy

Kim, Zoos are OK. Should there be no Zoos, who knows how many animal species would not be here with us today. Things are the way they are, not all of them can be satysifing. And ask your husband to drive you to Vlkolinec, Pieniny, Slovensky raj just to name a few locations worth visiting here in Slovakia. Stay safe, both of you. Peace...

Ach jaj, tak prirovnať Bojnický zámok k Disney landu to hádam nie, snáď ste to mysleli len obrazne, pretože nemá nič spoločné s gýčom Disney. 😜 Gróf Pálffy sa " v hrobe obracia" pri prirovnaní k Disney landu

Disney zámok aj Bojnický zámok boli inšpirované francúzskymi zámkami, majú teda podobnú predlohu a architektonický štýl. Preto ho ľudia prirovnávajú k Disney zámku.

@@ESCLuciaSlovakia Neuschwanstein - najkrajší zámok v Nemecku, ale tiež určite jeden z najkrajších na svete. Hrad vznikol ako výmysel chorého kráľa. Stvoril ho ,,Šialený kráľ“. Pre niektorých je zámok romantický sen, pre iných gýč. Walt Disney si zámok Neuschwanstein zvolil za emblém Disneylandu. Tiež ako zámok Snehulienky. Rozprávkový hrad sa nachádza v Bavorsku. Je postavený na skalnatom vrchu v bavorských Alpách, odkiaľ je nádherný výhľad na alpské jazero.

poznám históriu Bojnického zámku😉Keď už "prirovnať", tak Disney vyzerá/podobá ako Bojnický, aj keď netuším čím sa pri stavbe Disney zámku inšpirovali, prípadne okopirovali.😂
