Could This Be The Future? | ASUS A21 mATX Gaming PC Build | TUF Gaming B760M-BTF Reverse Motherboard
Ойын-сауық
#ASUS #asuspcdiy #pcbuild - Just when clean PC builds were reaching their pinnacle, ASUS comes along and drops a reverse motherboard with a supporting airflow focussed chassis! Enter the ASUS Case A21 & TUF Gaming B760M-BTF combo!

If there's one thing you can count on ASUS for, it's their innovation to bring exciting new products to the market. Whilst the reverse design motherboard has been seen within the industry before, this one kinda hits different.
The A21 chassis featured in this video has been designed to house the B760M-BTF motherboard flawlessly, this results in an extremely bold & clean overall aesthetic that I truly love. Whatsmore, it's an MATX form factor board which is freaking awesome! I had my initial reservations about how the cable management would work, but truthfully this setup made the whole process quicker, easier and far more intuitive.
Those eagle eyed of you would've likely spotted that I used a 1000w PSU for this build which was WAY overkill. This was primarily due to the fact I had several systems to build and display at show so my PSU options were quite limited at the time of filming! You'd be more than happy with a 750/850 instead :D

Whilst there are limitations when it comes to using the B760M-BTF motherboard with case compatibility, it's great to see ASUS making a move in this direction. I personally feel that as we move forwards, all case brands should start to accommodate for boards of this style. Not only do they make maintenance and cable management easier, the lack of cables within the chassis permits less airflow interruption too.
So, what's your thoughts on this reverse cable design? Do you agree that the future should go this way? Let's hash it out in the comments!

Good lord! The production quality is insanely good!
So good to see a build in 2024 that is not overloaded with rainbow RGB. So simple and clean, LOVE IT! (Btw the video quality and editing deserves alot more than 150k subs)
Editing, so fire my man!!

Dude, I seriously love the fact that you do a bunch of cool m-ATX builds on your channel. It is starting to become a dying breed. Finding anything in that form factor is slowly becoming harder and harder. Everyone is either doing the standard ATX builds or going ITX these days. Not sure why m-ATX isn't more popular since it's got a smaller footprint than ATX if you wanna go smaller, and isn't as expensive and a pain to build in with ITX builds. Perfect median. I recently did my m-ATX build in the Corsair 280x. Kind of an older case, but it's still extremely spacious and good looking. If you ever get a chance, it would be awesome to see a modern build in that case. Possibly a full Corsair build? That is what I ended up doing with the build I just mentioned. It would be a chance for everyone to check out all the new Corsair daily chainable fans and AIOs they just released a few months ago. Love the channel and I can't wait to see your channel get to 1 miilion subs in the future. You deserve it considering the quality of your video and audio, plus the builds come out flawless.
Of course this comes out right after I finish my Pop Air Mini build… great looking case.
Damnnnn your content are always unique and soooo satisfying to watch! keep it up Mr Matt!!!

i love this kinda case, looks professional
Super clean 👌 This case has a lot of potential. Love how the front 3 fans have the case sloped to them. I would put a light strip behind that slope 👀

I really like those fan shroud´s they look super clean, like the fan in/outtake is not blocked by anything, the rings where the fan is placed in is all free that is soooo nice, really nice touch. Have seen cases, where it looked like that 25 percent of the fans, are blocked the fan mounting shroud here its just super clean.
Cables in the back is like a dream.makes them much more accessible too.
The future is probably them trying to hide the back side of the 24pin that’s now the front…AsUs 😂😂😂

Really well done video. Combine the fact that video cards will be able to ditch their cables and be powered by the motherboard connection and you have a future of really clean builds with no cables in sight.
Quite ironic, in that I just completed my first ever PC Gaming build in a mATX case (I am a retired IT Professional). Watched countless hours of 'how to build' YT vids in preparation. While installing all of the mobo cabling, I was constantly thinking **why not have the cable attachments on the freakin' back of the mobo and just have cut-outs in the case** ... and now there is a mobo and case that does just that ... BRILLIANT!!!
Very nice build! I went with a very similar aesthetic with my most current build. Still waiting to upgrade my GPU then doing a custom water loop.
Very clean build,I quite like how the motherboardhas the 8-pin EPS and the 24-pin cables reverse mounted.I would like to see that become standardized.🔥🔥🔥🔥
nice video
When I watched this video the first time I expected this channel to have like 3+million sub. You deserve more than that Love how you show the info and the airflow and such Your Video is just... just perfect
Blackout on MATX chassy, Perfection!

1:20 I think u meant B760M my fellow friend! Thanks for sharing this innovative and imo totally needed new-creation of the whole PC build
nc mobo so clean, neat and aesthetic especially concealing the cable wire ..
Terrific content. Thank you. Is there a video for the komp Magnus teased at the end, please? Or an XTIA case build!
After rocking Corsair 350D for over 9 years, I think I have found my next MATX case!
The future has come, old man❤
This channel must be over 5 million subs
this channel must have 10 million subs
that motherboard is the dream this pc looks so damn good :D
oh yeah, thats amazing - every MB should do this.
Loving the M-ATX cases at the moment. Never knew about this one though, always had my eye on the CH370 or AP201, now I’ll have to give this one a look.

If you ever get a chance, check out the Corsair 280x as well. That is the current case I am using, and it's amazing. A little expensive, but builds end up looking incredible because of the room for cable management with the huge space in the back that holds the PSU. My recent all Corsair build came out so clean in this case. I highly recommend it.
Love me an mATX build.
I like the reverse mobo design. I think I would have preferred if the fans were all black. Great vid, Mr. Matt Lee!
Gracias
Have to love Noctua, 100% fan speed and under 40 dB. Also love that mouse mat.
I hope this trend sticks, they look so nice, wish they cover the rear part of the plugs that are in the front with heatsinks or something so it looks even cleaner.
Another perfect build! Would love to see you do a build using one of the new XFX GPUs?
ngl, MML is one of the only things i look forward to on Monday ❤

Happy to see EVA 02 is coming to you 😁! And very neat cable management even with normal PSU👍! I think Corsair has PSUs which the connectors are setup to the side for ease of cabling especially for these types of boards..

I do have one of those Corsair PSU’s here at the studio, but with the system being mostly ASUS I felt like it would be out of place… let’s save that for another video? 😁 Oh for sure, I can’t wait for the EVA-02 build either. This month, it’s happening…

Congratulations on that awesome showing! I completely missed that you name your builds till now. It’s an art gallery. Question, Why don’t you tag the setup peripherals like you do the components? They are always so well considered.
Love the build curious about where do all your pc builds end up?
This is actually a very good idea. Now if they can also figure something out for the big and clunky GPU power cables, it'll be great. Great video as always!

ASUS actually showed this but I just don't like how they implemented it because it looked like it's going to be an exclusive on their motherboards and GPU's and not a standard for all brands, they made a GPU with extra pins at the bottom and a motherboard that also supported those pins when you plugged the GPU in, at the back of the motherboard were the usual GPU 8pins and maybe a 12+4 pin showed it this video. I just don't like how they did it because it looked proprietary and exclusive to their hardware.

I both love and hate the idea of the ports being on the back for one you could uses a slightly smaller case since you dont have to worry aboit cable curve but on the other end i love looking at the cables as they can tie the build neatly
