I'm waiting for AM5 BTF lines-up 🔥🔥🔥

I don't like the idea of buying into a closed platform, but the GPU power through the motherboard is a great option.

Have all the pieces to build a btf besides the mobo and gpu... just wish there was a white 4080 super btf on the horizon or a white variant of the 4090 they're making already.

I could go all sides with MESH and metal frames. I would still see the spinning fans and leds.

Not sure. Depends on the sales of btf likely

Any form factor without some kind of bottom fans for intake is inefficient and frankly dated. This is an old design that needs to be discontinued.

Thing just came to mind: Could those motherboard stands come out from simple pipes ? They could also be flat holders. Like a prison cell it would look like from the back or Spiderweb. You place in the bars you need for the specific motherboard. Have a [ GAP ] behind the motherboard, this way it can take any future designs too. If you like it can have the metal cover, or swap it for mesh or glass. Yes this current method propably is a short protection, but since we are aware of it, we can MESH around with it. Got my vision ?

I see an issue if this zero cable thing motherboard gonna be meta, you cant use your old cases no more. Lots of waste metal, or do we just cut some holes ourselfs into it ?
