I’m glad that someone is as frustrated with the stadium issue as I am. It’s probably Oct - Dec before we get to take out seats! Not good enough in opinion…

We’ve gone from a board under King that put information out there, to a board more secretive than Mi6 ,, .. fans pay for there season tickets deserve to know where there going to watch the Rangers play,

I worked on the anfield job. The penalty clause was 1 million pounds per game missed. So they were working round the clock

Liverpool are very smart. They screwed us for Ryan Kent and Ben Davies which suggests they know how to run a club

Bobby Clarke is a quality player has had a few 1st team outings for klopps team.

Always find a way to give them across the city an advantage every year.

Great start this is going to be for clements rebuilding of the squad. With out ibrox.

It looks like there has been a breakdown in risk management on behalf of the club and possibly on behalf of the contractor. On a contract, where the works is time-critical, due to the stadium being required to be completed by a fixed date, with no wriggle room, it looks like a schoolboy error not to have the steelwork already onsite or in storage close to Ibrox prior to the start of the project. It is not uncommon to have penalty clauses written into a contract, to energise the contractor to make sure that they complete the works on time or even ahead of time. The contractors pre-planning should have co-ordinated the work over a 24hrs day, three 8 hour shifts, in order to complete the contract on time. Even at this late stage, if working 24hrs a day has not already been planned, it remains an opportunity for the contractor to shorten the contract period to complete it as quickly as possible.😉

The chairman has to come out and be truthful with the fans as to what's happening. In the absence of information rumours are king. Embarrassing position to be in when the manager is in the middle of a squad rebuild. Looks as if this has been attempted on the cheap and is going to end up costing more in the long run.

This could cost us champions league place , Ibrox is essential for momentum.,.it's a shambles.

That's because the press are writing utter bolloks, ffs look they might not want others to know. Other cl7bs and those who believe anything. Everything you have spoken about comes from the biased press. You should be embarrassed. The club told the press nothing. Negative. Tolerant. You k8dfing. The club might want to keep it private. The press and KZread hit hinter made up some drama. Ffs.

It is common sense to have all the materials local to the job before it commences. Common sense has obviously went out of the window on this one.

@@bigmeltie1 I appreciate there will be standard practices however this is not a standard job. This was time strung and they should have had all components ready to go. I am sure they would have got a storage deal from somewhere to house the materials allowing the job to flow. I appreciate the point you make, a club like ours should be seen to be doing things properly and not making a mess of it.

No work is completed un til it’s completed. You can set a date you would hope to get it completed. But I doubt that the board can guarantee a date.

I thought Bennett was made of tougher stuff than the Parks. Evidently not based upon his silence. If you can't handle the heat, and your responsibilities to the support, get out.

The stadium situation is diabolical indeed. I agree Rangers need to make a call asap. I'd suggest stay at Ibrox for all games, if thats even possible. I know it's not ideal or even popular, however it's a decision and that's what we need. Compensate those effected like a 50% discount for next seasons tickets holders. Remember, ALL fans are effected not just Copland Rd.

Can someone with a clue please come in and save this amazing football club from this debacle. We need a buyer in. My prediction is it will be the new year before this is fixed. Absolute shambles. I do not want Mclean at all. Too slow, worse than Lundstram.

I’m guessing here, but the club have probably tried to save money by providing the steel themselves rather than paying the contract on top for them providing the steel, and on top of that the contract was probably for works to commence this year based on false promises of the steel company and this would have saved money again because the responsibility has been taken away from the contractor. This is the only reason I could see that you would start with no steel, because rangers have said it’s coming and the contractor has to go as if it is. No contractor in their right mind would start without the steel. There would have been a go, no go meeting at the start. But ultimately “cost saving experts “ stick their nose in at the start with great ideas but that take responsibility away from the contractor.

Fans have been taken advantage of for too long. We do everything we can to put money into the club and follow them everywhere… about time we get answers and see a much improved product on the park that wins.

Rangers fans have been put through the ringer over the years, and it's not because the other mob have been a few classes above us on the pitch imo, it's because ultimately we have been our own masters in this continued number of clusterfucks and given our recent history I see no sign of this easing anytime soon.. The other thing I am concerned about is the speculation around Tavernier and Goldson, just what IF no moves come to fruition for either and both remain at the club, how will that effect them and also team performances going forward?. Neither have come out to kill any rumours also. This also begs the question and timing of leadership and captaincy because I haven't heard Clement come out and kill any rumours also. Surely, as manager, he'd want such an issue resolved as early as it can be, particularly in pre season and with it being such a monumental season for us. Imo this season is just as big as stopping them from getting the so-called famous 10. Stopping them getting 55 should be the talk right now, and our dressing room just feels unprepared for such a task. The two changes I wanted to see this summer were an improvement in player profiling and recruitment and a change in playing style and system. I'd like us to have a bit more protection at the back and to have more presence up top. I'd favour a 3142 with the following. Butland Sterling ????? ????? Bar/Rask Diomande Cant/Yilm Tav/Cort Cor/Jefte Dan/Dess Iga/Rabbi
