@@chrismeandyou the mask does next to nothing. it only provides a small buff, just like Vanier describe it (raises magic abilities, increases blood flow and gives the user's skin a healthy glow on full moon), and he's done the exact same thing without it. the anime added him talking like Vanier. The anime never showed it but he is severely nerfed by his party there was a party switch with Dust one of the better adventures at the starter town. the party wanted to keep Kazuma as he not only saved them from a monster that preys on up to mid level adventures twice and was instrumental in wiping out the goblin village they were sent to get rid of which turned out to be much bigger then there intel said.

I love how Aqua is considered part of Kazuma's arsenal of abilities

Makes sense- Kazuma is pragmatic and selfish, which are traits that would prevent him from getting embroiled in the royal selection to start with. He's not the type of guy who will ride or die for a random girl. Conversely, Subaru is the exact sort of dude who would take Kazuma's world seriously, and appreciate it for what it was. He was SO READY for a by-the-numbers isekai, he would effectively end up like Mitsurugi.

Actually yes pretty much, Assuming they are transported as their current selves, kazuma would just not interfere with rooswall's stuff and die for people, just carry aqua around and cast explosion and/or deadly backstab on any interference, idk about light novel subaru, but he can definitely not get involved with darkness,aqua and megumin and live a relatively nice life as either adventurer or commonfolk (unless he stays in axel up to volume 15)

Also considering the fact that he got a type for white haired girl if he got isekai in konosuba he would most likely ended up alone/ maybe with yunyun or megumin knowing subaru.

Subaru only dies so much because of his need to be the hero, something that Kazuma doesn't even come close to having so he would be fine as long as no one gets him into trouble.

Well let's be honest, he's got aqua... Ya, he's not going to avoid any of the trouble, she'll make sure of that. That said I do think Kazuma's luck stat is far stronger than people give him credit for. I mean I does survive Aquas bullshit (mostly, gets resurrected when he doesn't). Also he's faced 4 devil king generals (went into business with 1, got killed taking out 2), fought the Mobil fortress, demon army, and a noble tried to execute him, assaulted by orc women, killed several times by monsters, is constantly running into the undead, and was chased by The access cult... Yet somehow he still manages to fail upwards. Also consider Subaru is constantly having mental breakdowns from dying, Kazuma's died a bunch of times also but handles much better, for him it's like tripping and falling on his face. I honestly think Kazuma would actually have a good shot, his biggest issue is re: zero tends to have timed trials and Kazuma...ya, his lazy ass would miss all of them.

That might give a normal man scars, but it wouldn't last even a full episode for him to get over it.

If Kazuma sequentially went up against all the enemies that Subaru did, yeah he'd die. But he is Kazuma. By which I mean he wouldn't suicidally stick his neck out like Subaru did in the first place. Meaning that Roswaal's Gospel would tell him to not bother throwing challenges at him. Inadvertantly preventing everything bad from the first 3 arcs from happening. If this Kazuma also has Aqua with him then he'd get insanely rich quick in the Re:Zero setting, because Aqua's healing is way better than anything even Felix can do. Also Megumin's explosion after the movie buff could definitely kill the whale. It's not even a question of magic absorption at that point - the physical non-magical shockwave would mulch him faster than he can blink and the hot plasma air would fry him.

Kazuma doesnt have Subaru's massive hero complex and white knight syndrome. He would never make the same mistakes Subaru did. Even if Kazuma somehow ends up indebted to Emilia... he wont decide to dedicate his life to her. The only reason why Kazuma wanted to be an adventurer in the first place, was because Aqua lied to him and made him believe his new life would be like a videogame where he is the OP protagonist. Once he saw the harsh reality, he decided he wanted to quit being an adventurer and explore many other possibilities like becoming a merchant, an inventor... and even open up a business and recreate japanese food to sell. All which proved to be profitable ideas for him, but he kept being dragged out to adventuring, mostly by his companions.

Kazuma will take Echidna's contract but due to his luck stat for some reason, he would seem to be unaffected and Echidna gets the short end of the stick. Echidna will get tired of Kazuma's shenanigans and will nullify the contract.

In fact the author of Re Zero said that Kazuma would go through the obstacles much easier than Subaru if he were in his world, so the author's canon ending is that Kazuma passes Re:Zero in some way (he didn't give details )

its cuz the author read konosubas novel i think. the anime and manga barely touch on it, but kazuma is stupidly strong. hes only "weak" bcuz hes taking on the role of whole armies trying to support his group(as in the novel it literally took an army with specifications to help the team to the same capacity that kazuma does everyday) and getting his stats nerfed. anytime kazuma didnt have his team(aqua, megumin, and darkness all have terrible luck, which in turn nerfs kazumas high luck) he just outperforms pretty much the whole verse and thats with breaking EVEN on avergage luck teammates. imagine with a full team or army of high luck individuals? he literally just walks up, steals your weapons, binds you, maybe waterboards you, freezes you, and then just takes all of your energy making him full and you the opposite. yeah, kazuma definitely goes through re;zero pretty easily

Imagine if when he goes to Re zero he already has the ability to auto-dodge, that ability is activated only by the luck stat, meaning that work even against the invisible hands, since Kazuma doesn't necessarily have to see them to activate the ability. Or that he has equipment like the adamantine rope made for hunting giant monsters, in that case very few people could escape Bind. People think kazuma is weak but in truth he just avoid dangerous situation and the show doesn't really bring out how dangerous konosuba's world is Imagine this kazuma and Mitsurugi is not the only reincarnated in konosuba and all of them has cheats in addition the royal family are descendents of cheaters making them super strong, despite all these the demon king army are still winning the war And if you looked at the beginners town it is surrounded by high bounty monsters there is even a monster name rookie killer

The tone is different, but both worlds are actually dangerous. It's kinda like adventure time. Jake and Finns shenanigans feel like it isn't dangerous because one is a half intedimentional being and fin being a above normal human, and a reincarnation of a catalyst comet. There is also the fact that they mostly hang out in the candy kingdom. Regular humans deemed the continent inhospitable for humanity for a thousand because of nuclear mutated monsters, vampires, and rainbow unicorns who wanted human flesh.

​@maskedtonez I think the first time kazuma died in the world is where they met said dangerous monter. Really just to show that it is indeed dangerous, just not shown much that part because that's not the story wanted to tell.

I just recently got into Konosuba after a friend convinced me to watch it, and its one of the silliest, most fun anime i've watched

With knowledge of the Light Novels, I can say safely say that Kazuma could get away from the rabbits, and that he could potentially teleport the white whale away. As for Betelguese, Kazuma has the auto dodge skill and the escape artist skill, which make him not only super hard to hit, but also allow him to just escape being tied up or imprisoned. He could also teleport himself and others out of most of these situations with the teleport spell. There's a bunch more that he can do, but going any further would be spoilers, so I'll just say that he could likely find a way to save several characters, and potentially make it up to the current series.

Yeah, people often dismisses Kazuma's way of approaching fights, or even any situation in his life. Like how he bests Mitsurugi twice using unorthodox method. Same goes when he 1 v 1 Darkness with Walter watching from the side. Kazuma doesn't care if his fights tactics is underhanded or not, he cares for the results which is simply winning. The best example can be seen during the Thief Kazuma event. He utilize every bit of the 'low level adventure' skills that he learned and become a menace to an entire army of castle guards (and Mitsurugi whom he beat to submission easily and way more brutal in the LN). He is not all that powerful for sure, but his mind is one of the best when push comes to shove.

Like how they potrayed him in every boss fights in the anime finale (vs Destroyer, Hans, Slyvia). He masterminded the plan and lead the most unlucky party to beat them. I can't compared endgame Kazuma with Subaru though because I don't know LN Subaru that much. Maybe he also buffed more in his endgame (as every mainstream story should).

How will Kazuma deal with the Sin Archbishops or Regulus? Subaru handled them using his unique knowledge of astronomy, particularly to uncover Regulus's weakness. Kazuma's autododge isn't infallible and depends heavily on luck. Since it's not always effective, he remains vulnerable, particularly to attacks like Betelgeuse's Unseen Hands, which even Aqua can't detect. Given these limitations, how can Kazuma realistically handle these problems, especially if he were to follow Subaru's events?

And remember what happened to otto in s1 when he got captured? The same could happened to kazuma in what-if scenario because reinhard can't leave lugunica without permission while kazuma wanted to get rich as soon as possible and the only way is to become a merchant like otto.

yes. easily. Most of the troubles Subaru get into is because he is selfless and tries to help people. Kazuma who is a lot more selfish would have avoided all the troubles Subaru ran into.

nitpick: Kazuma doesn't start with all his magic abilities, he has to learn them by copying them, so he wouldn't have Steal, Create Water, Freeze, Drain Touch etc, but presumably he could copy whatever reasonably low level abilities the various RE: Zero characters could teach him.

Yeah that's also what I noticed. If there's no adventurer's guild, he wouldn't even be able to acquire skills. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he'll need the guild card to learn/upgrade skills and stats. (Idk much about Konosuba lore though in this topic so I'm probably wrong). This definitely depends on how and when he gets in Re:zero. He'll fare pretty well if he already has his skills (each skill and experience is an asset for survivability and quality of life). Another thing to consider is if he'll have Aqua or not. He'll have Aqua if they met first and chose her as his cheat item. It'll be a massive loss of asset though without her.

Kazuma has better social skill, he can get along with thugs and normal people (except nobles). He still has high luck stat and affinity to merchant class. He probably has different skill set than hybrid rogue if he doesn't rely on the guild though

Tbf while Kazuma has had some brutal deaths (Winter Shogun comes to mind) it doesnt compare to Subaru's deaths like being deleted (LITERALLY) by rabbits or getting his body fully frozen then decapitated and not to mention that he basically eats this types of deaths almost on a daily basis as well

A) Kazuma is not losing to the three random thugs. He would beat them even without Magic. What they neglect to mention in the Konosuba anime is that Kazuma was quite literally only caught off guard with the one punch from the thug, and he actually managed to defeat them off screen. B) Elsa is actually INSANELY weak to Magic, which is like the main thing that Kazuma uses offensively. She’s so weak to Magic that she didn’t want to risk running into Subaru’s Shamack. It’s that bad. C) Mitsurigi ripped apart metal bars with his bare hands and completely outclasses Kazuma in every way imaginable. Mitsurigi is also very skilled without a sword, it’s just that Kazuma is quick to catch him off guard. I’m certain Julius would get done just like Mitsurigi. D) There’s literally nothing Betelgeuse could do once Kazuma goes invisible. Once Kazuma goes invisible all Kazuma’s has to do is shoot him in the head and it’s GG. Like another comment said, his power is in the form of an item which Kazuma can easily steal. D) Against the rabbits, Kazuma can just use the ESCAPE skill the second he sees the first rabbit or just cast Teleport if you wanna use his Demon King Arc self. OR he can just cast the Lurk Skill or use Bind. There’s SO MUCH he could do there. He’s gotten past hundreds of trained soldiers I’m pretty certain he can get around those rabbits.

A) I agree. B) Elsa is not weak to magic; it’s not stated anywhere. The reason she didn't want to be hit by Subaru's shamak again is because it affects all five senses. Naturally, no one would want to be caught in shamak. Even under its effects, she was able to accurately target her enemies' vitals and avoid an attack that destroyed the room she was in. So, she doesn't have a weakness to magic. C) Let's clear some things up. Julius can't be compared to anyone in Konosuba, especially not Mitsurugi. Julius would easily defeat Kazuma. Kazuma is only subsonic (i.e., faster than the human eye can see), an expert swordsman with some decent abilities. In contrast, Julius is a master swordsman who can interact with and block things moving at the speed of light, and has an attack that moves at the speed of light. Kazuma would be completely outmatched. D) Kazuma's concealment only grants him invisibility for a very short period. Killing Petelgeuse is irrelevant if his fingers are still alive, as he will transfer to them, and Kazuma will have no way of knowing this. Kazuma would be caught off guard because he can't see the Unseen Hands, and Petelgeuse would do to Kazuma what he did to Rem. E) Yes, I agree, Kazuma can escape but he certainly cannot defeat them.

Mitsurugi is capable of spamming the attack Reinhard used against Elsa with each swing of his sword. . A serious Vanir can spam death-beam which works exactly like DarkSides Onega beams (- existence erasure), regardless his possession ability is a hard counter to Julius considering vanir's infinite mana. . Darkness is capable of tanking attacks from enemies that are a 100ft tall, Julius nearly died to an attack from Dragon Capella. . Megumin is capable of casting explosion in a fraction of a second, she just chooses not to most of the time due to various personality defects. If she has a magic crystal like the one Emilia wears she can spam this too. . Kazuma can snipe and kill an enemy mage a mile away as they cast a 1word long spell, ensuring that Julius can never pull off his higer tier spells as he dodges or blocks these. He also has a random chance chance automatically Dodge attacks, even ftl ones. . Aqua 1 hit GGs all his flowerbud spirits at the same time with purify, hell she can instantly purify a fully charged Beatrice. Even further she can instantly purify Echidna's demihuman barrier like she did the several mile wide ones in front of the Demon King Castle. . Wiz can hold her own fighting directly against Puck and can not be frozen Point D.) Kazuma doesn't need to know anything about Petelgueses power, he will always snipe a Witch Cultist from afar in a hidden place, can find their locations in the forest by just moving around (enemy detection and keen eye) and cannot be caught of guard due to enemy detection (his own stupidity may conflict with this though), He is capable of killing every witch cultist in that forest without even being aware of who Petelguess is. Point E.) Agree

Reinhard's attack was stated to rumble the atmosphere, split space, and vaporize opponents, all while being heavily suppressed to avoid destroying the village and those behind him, keep in mind that Reinhard could destroy and recreate the world with a single swing of his sword (as showcased in his fight againsy puck in Arc 4). There's no evidence from the novel that Mitsurugi can perform such feats. Even hypothetically, if Mitsurugi could perform the same attack (which he can’t, as no one in Konosuba can cut through space), he still isn’t Reinhard. Konosuba characters are only subsonic, moving faster than the human eye can see. In contrast, Elsa from Re:Zero is repeatedly stated to move and fight faster than the speed of sound. Mitsurugi, being subsonic, would be too slow to hit Elsa even with a similar attack. 2. Vanir's death beam is not existence erasure; it’s just death manipulation. This would kill many Re:Zero characters who can't resurrect or don’t have resistance to death manipulation. Only characters like Reinhard, Petelgeuse (who resist death manipulation), and those who can resurrect (Satella, Reinhard, Pandora, Al, Subaru) or Character who can only be killed through other manners like Petelguese, where all his fingers have to be killed for him to die, Or Puck where you can only kill him by Damaging his Soul, would survive. However, hitting them is another matter. Subsonic characters like Aqua have deflected this beam multiple times. Vanir would get blitzed before using it effectively. Although he has many lives due to his evil deeds, and he has lost count, but this doesn't have infinite lives just a large, unspecified number, it could even just be in the 1000's, They can keep killing him until he runs out of lives. 3. Height doesn't mean anything, Capella scales to Mountain Level, therefore Massively scaling above the 100ft tall creature. Plus Capella has a good hax including her Authority. Darkness is not tanking an attack that ignores durability. 4. It's great that Megumin has that ability, but it's situational. Re:Zero characters, including Julius, are much more durable than Darkness. Julius's durability is scaled to mountain level and he has resistance to extreme temperatures, as users of the Flow Method can withstand extreme cold and heat. Additionally, Megumin's explosion has limited range. Julius could simply blitz her before she finishes casting. 5. Kazuma's snipe won't hit Julius. Even if Kazuma's snipe is as fast as a sniper rifle bullet, which is just faster than sound, Julius can deflect lightspeed attacks, and light is 874,635 times faster than sound. Julius has also reacted to Balroy's invisible missiles at the speed of thought, can sense heat sources, and detect atmospheric changes through his spirits. He can sense and locate Kazuma easily. Kazuma’s auto-dodge is not reliable against FTL attacks; it’s shown to dodge a lightning bolt, which is much slower than light. Auto-dodge activates based on his luck stat and has a cooldown period, meaning if Kazuma dodges an attack once, he won't be able to dodge it again immediately. 6. Aqua's ability to purify spirits is moot if she doesn't have the chance to use it. She'll likely be eliminated before even realizing it. Furthermore, spirits like Puck wouldn't even die from attacks, as long as their Od (soul) isn't destroyed. 7. Wiz will be frozen. Because this isn't just simple freezing, like how you see characters freeze people or water, but Absolute Zero instead, if you don't know what absolute zero is, search for "Absolute Zero vsbw definition".

@@n9tailz I didn't say the attack against Satella, I said the one against ELSA that blew through the entire Loot House and surrounding area. Its not a normal Reinhard level attack, but it's enough to kill most of the characters we see in Re:zero and Julius being hit by 2 or 3 of those is enough to kill him. . . My comment said ( "-" existence erasure) (Minus) Minus Existence Erasure... KZread just cropped the comment horribly. Basically Death beam can curve around and doesn't miss. It can only be tanked. Aside from Reinhardand the Witches this attack kills most everyone else in Re:zero. Petelguess would be killed outright by Vanir though, Vanir is pretty close to Omniscient and can accurately see the future and past (as long as he is not near holy energy of a greater amount than his mana). The moment Petelguess is within a few miles of vanir, vanir becomes aware of who he is, why he is that way, how many fingers he has, where they are, and what they all had for breakfast that morning. He could kill all the fingers at his leisure before ever encountering Petelguess. As for Petelguess, he is a soul, vanir is a Demon that rules a layer of hell. Its shown in Konosuba that Demons are capable of outright removing a soul and dragging it back to the underworld with them. This is the worse matchup for Petelguess. As for Puck, again Vanir can directly manipulate the soul....and considering another spirit made by Echidna was able to be damaged with a dagger I'd say its not really needed. . . Capella is mountain level, the average mountain is 2600ft tall, if Darkness can tank 26 100ft+ attacks easily or *26x26=657 if you're a stickler for physics* (and she can) or take on attacks capable of destroying the average mountain easily (and she has) its not much of a problem to tank attacks from Capella. Julius being scaled to mountain level means an attack that easily destroys entire mountains (explosion) will kill him. Even worse when it's capable of spam. As mentioned earlier if hits from Capella are capable of killing him, an explosion is. Explosions damage isn't just the heat, but the bludgeoning force caused by the rapid expansion. It creates a shockwave capable of being felt miles away. That would mulch him heat resistance or no. A far smaller explosion was capable of mulching the body of the white whale. Which if it directly hit Julius is capable of greatly Harming him as well. . . The whole point of my Kazuma comment is that Julius would be interrupted from casting spells due to DODGING the snipe. Whether or not it hits him is irrelevant. Aqua is capable of sensing beings with devious intentions (and yes this explicitly includes Kazuma) has super human vision and can see with said vision at night just as clear as if it were day... Yet Kazuma was able to use his skill and hide from her, 2ft away, despite her directly looking in his direction. This same skill is capable of hiding from Chris a goddess, Vanir the near-omnipotent demon, and the Demon King all within touching range of them. Even if Lurk doesn't work up close, it will definitely work if he moves a further distance away. Essentially, Minus the Witches, Reinhard and Wilhelm. We see no one else in Re:zero explicitly countering this. Autododge is capable of Dodging "Light of Saber", which as it's name implies.... As for the cooldown, it's short enough for him to escape but I'll agree that it's rough. Aside for comedic timing Kazuma has almost near perfect odds with it though, it can reasonably be assumed that as long as he has a use of autododge it will work... it runs on luck, a stat that Kazuma is stated to only be second to a goddess in. . . This is where personality and knowledge come into the fight. Will Julius of all people in Re:0 stab a lady in the back or instantly shoot her at first sight....No. Even when facing reprehensible opponents Julius is always chivalrous. As for knowledge Julius has 0 on her ability to exorcise spirits....Best he'll be in a fight against them is to be on guard of her due to her insanely high mana....but he'll target Kazuma first cause he'll know the type of enemy he is. If he still attacks first, Aqua is capable of healing herself to top condition instantly. Bar cutting off her head no attack is truly lethal. If he instead uses the spirits magic or fires the Prismatic beam on Aqua she is perfectly capable of outright dispelling it if aware of it..... .....or tanking it all together if not. Aqua's magic resistance is the highest in her verse. It is quite literally Divine. Even if she is hurt by this she heals it instantly. Even if she dies we still have no confirmation of what happens to her, she can't return to the afterlife so will she be resurrected or become a ghost... who knows? If she becomes a ghost does she still have her former skills, if so could she not just resurrect herself? To further discuss, Aqua is capable amd willing of Exorcising spirits at her whim. Even if Aqua were to walk by near him on a normal day, she would exorcise them. No pretense of combat required. Secondly, exercising spirits is as simple as saying the words "Turn Undead" which takes just as long as saying "El Humia". As long as she has a second in combat, she can do this. If Julius fires the prismatic beam, Aqua has enough time to exorcise the spirits. . . Absolute Zero: The state of no energy in an area. Or the absolute coldest temperature. Whiz, and undead spiritual being (already breaking some of those laws of physics), capable of existing eternally, who is outright stated to have perfect Ice Resistance (her old titles where Frost witch or Ice queen) If Reinhard a being with 80% cold resistance can still stand within it when the frost is already far enough to reach the Capital from Roswell's mansion.... ......Then Whiz is capable of standing within it while it's in the first few minutes of activation. Even if it's capable of taking her to 0 energy.....she is also capable of sucking back energy from Puck. Which would be an infinite loop. A fully skilled up Drain touch is also capable of damaging the soul and adding negative curses as a side effect. Kazuma has the basic version. A good measure to use is that anything a serious Roswell is capable of surviving Whiz is as well. He's quite literally a lesser version of her, that's not even an insult, if you handed Young Roswell the secrets to Lichdom before he started the body hopping fiasco he would have instantly taken it.

I guess you haven't read till the end of Konosuba cause at the final battle Kazuma used 6-8 core reactor to self-destruct to secure the win with him at point-blank range and basically atomized him and he managed to revived via Aqua returning to God realm. Basically if Kazuma can't be resurrected his soul will be sent to God realm alongside Aqua and return immediately.

@@Snt1_ not really. Kazuma is the anchor of Aqua to the world without Kazuma Aqua would be kicked out of the world. This is also the reason why Eris needed an avatar to descend to the world. Remember even though Aqua is like that he is still higher rank than Eris in terms of godhood.

Kazuma would survive and probably have a good ending, he doesn’t have that suicidal tendency that Subaru has. Also, he’s intelligent enough to know his limits, so he wouldn’t do anything that could kill him unless is necessary. The moment Kazuma realizes how powerful Reinhax is, he probably would just follow him around or do whatever he orders him to do, bc that would be the safest route.

Doubtful. Kazuma viscerally hates Mitsurugi because he's too perfect. If Reinhard tried ordering him around Kazuma would probably try to fuck things up for him and leave afterwards or even before Reinhard actually wrongs him in any way. While intelligent, Kazuma is awfully petty and vengeful. Like his design, he's literally Rance and automatically despises 90% of men he meets (because they are cooler/more successful than him) and the only ones that he hangs around with are idiots like Dust or the mob that considers him a hero.

This is why i love kazuma as a character. Instead of brute forcing an outcoming by consistently trying to be the hero he just side steps the entire problem to begin with and then somehow ends up solving the problem in the most absurd way possible.

Doesn't kazuma's lurk+ steal combo incapacitate a huge number of flying cabbage? It should in theory incapacitate all the rabbits too. Which he could just stab them all. Also pretty sure betelgeuse would become completely useless against aqua who would just get rid of his curse.

For my take I think a Kazuma run with RBD would probably end on Emilia quitting and Roswaal dropping the plan. He gets arc 1 done despite almost leaving after his first death, asks for a big reward in arc 2 and just gets an easy life in the mansion which is where the run ends: Rem dies or Kazuma dies first thought Ram pushing him to get groceries with Rem and him getting bitten by the dog. But...Rem still dies because Kazuma isn't going to kill himself if he fails to figure out what happened the second time which leads to Roswaal's depression and Emilia quitting like in Wrath IF. This ends on Kazuma feeling awkward at the depressing mansion and either leaving with money to escape it (ending up in Kararagi?) or just trying to cheer up everyone and failing miserably. Now to actually watch the video.

If Kazuma were in Subaru's shoes (With Return By Death), he'd fuck off the second he learned what his guts felt like lmao. Even if Emilia dies in the loot house, Reinhard's right in the city so he'd kill Puck immediately. Best case scenario, none of the loot house arc even happens because Roswaal's gospel would change. He'd probably become a successful trader, make bank off his ideas, and work with the Anastasia camp. Crusch gets erased by the White Whale, Felt dies in the loot house (or doesn't get discovered), and Emilia either dies in the loot house or to Betelguese Romanee-Conti, who's Gospel would show him when to attack for success- meaning there'd only be 2 candidates left, so Kazuma would be in a comfortable spot in the Anastasia Camp.

That wond happen until arc 5. If he's in Anastasia camp, she wond probably invite him (or trick him) to Pristella. And no way in hell that Kazuma wond pass it with 20 deaths like Subaru. Like, there will be Sloth, Greed, Gluttony and Lust with Kazuma having just 50% of the help that Subaru got. No Emilia, No Garfiel, no Otto, no Crush, no Willelm, no Felix, and probably not even Reinhard, as Felt inst a candidate for queen.

Actually, even Kazuma without "powers" was SO LUCKY, that he would AWAYS win in any game where luck is a thing. His LUCK is something that comes from his original world, he didn't gained this after he died. And even without using magic, he DID make a Cassino go bankrupt, just from winning EVERY Single time... IF he was in character, he would actually go to another city "somehow". (Because puck would kill everyone) And Reinhardt KILLED Puck before he could kill everyone in the world, so... just the initial city would just die. He would probably survive long enough on this world, like the subaru from the Aganu IF did.

The “for those three reasons” bit is hilarious, I think it’s the matter of fact way you said it that got me.

kazuma and aqua against elsa: aqua would cast sacred break spell, nullifying elsa curse. due to this, elsa mind will slightly change and she will be less on the murdering side than she was before. after that, due to her high stats and immunity to phisical damage aqua can just restrain her. and perhaps elsa will retreat for the moment. kazuma still get killed though and immediately brought back thanks to aqua. if you add emilia in the picture her power will be helpful and reinhardt will pop up even if not contacted first due to kazuma high luck stat.

That's kind of the thing. Anything significant Kazuma does will have the best possible effect long term. He might occasionally blunder, but it's in social situations and not in anything major. He is quite literally the luckiest living being to ever exist, aside from the godess of luck herself Notable moments include, but are not limited to: any time he uses steal and recent "Damn, if only I could mimic voices" "Oh damn I can, thank you random blessing" He doesn't have a płot armor, but a fucking plot sword. Anything he does will achieve some degree of success

Elsa is like an undead, Aqua would have defeated her in a second. Puk is a spirit, he wouldn't have to do anything against Aqua. Aqua is at Ains level, magic would be useless against her. All Re:zero characters would have nothing to do against her dispel magic that can eliminate all abnormal status and sense all evil presences. If Kazuma and Aqua are on the same team, this would become a pure comedy. Petelgeuse would have been freed from his curse along with all his followers, Aqua is too powerful and would not need to fight directly. And Kazuma would have died a bunch of times, but that's it.

Honestly, I feel like Kazuma would just tell Emilia to f*** off as soon as he realizes how much trouble it is being around her, and would live his best life elsewhere.

...Kazuma would probably just turn invisible with his stealth skill. Only problem here is who would die first. But if he saw him use his invis hands on someone he would take it seriously, use sneak, go away then use snipe and kill him. Betelguese can not rly kill Kazuma the moment he uses sneak. But here is more fun idea, what if Kazuma could steal his power? We see that this power can be taken and transferred and steal works on basics of luck so the highest chance of stealing for him is something that is most important/ has the greatest value. So for Betelgeuse it would be his power Sloth and as stolen item would always appear in the hand Kazuma would instantly absorb it. -------------------------------------- Great rabits..... Invisibility.... the end. they can not do anything to him, there are tons of trees around snow etc. he could easily hide. ---------------------------------------- Also big problem with this video is that he did not specify which Kazuma he want to use. If we use end of the novel Kazuma, he just wins.... he might even be able to steal Rainhart blessings and remove his cheats if he want to.... If we use kazuma from the start, so like just after isekai he would be dead. simply as that. He would not become friends with thugs as at that point he was just nobody, however if we allow flexibility, Kazuma would not go into the ally, he lives in Japan and was in high school at some point, he is awere enough to know how stuff works, he would completely dodge entire story. We dont rly know what element. But if you are using current anime Kazuma, he has all the tools to kill everyone accept rabbits. He can survive any Re:zero encounter by simply using stealth and he can kill all human targets with drain touch, he can do so as well on the whale.

Kazuma doesnt have invisibility tho. The closest thing to invisibility in Konosuba is light refraction, which Im 90% sure he didnt get to learn by the end. Lurk is a skill that lets you stay VERY well hidden, but you need to be at a mildly hidden place (like behind a thin wall)

@@Snt1_ He’s literally shown to go invisible out in the open while in the anime to ditch Aqua in a dungeon AND when he caught Chris off guard in S3 in the anime as well as to escape from Darkness’ henchmen in S3. He can go invisible so long as he’s in the shadows, which is certainly the case here.

people forget that kazuma is one of the most op characters in his show, his stats are just unbalanced because of the others. im pretty sure in the novel kazuma joined another team for a bit and they begged him to stay, as well as it being revealewd that kazuma alone is acting in for 2 whole small armies worth because each member of his party are good only when backed. aqua is op when she has a medic team, megumin when she has other casters and healers, and darkness with a sizeable amount of other swordsmen and tanks. what does kazuma do? carry them. he single handedly makes them all useful without legions of soldiers. they each also have low luck and reduce kazumas, so whenever his luck stat evens out he gets super op and even more so when those around him actually have above average luck. what does this mean?? kazuma solos most of re:zero in actuality, hes not some uselesss fighter. drop him and hes alone, hes fine anywhere he goes, add aqua and hes honestly worse off. give him competent teammates? re;zero literally wouldnt stand a chance. im not even trying to dickride kazuma either, not even really a fan of the show. hes just dummy strong with context, considering we've seen him solo high ranked enemies IN GROUPS in konosuba already

Kazuma is constantly finding ways to escape from any conflict or responsability. He will pretty much get the "Sloth if stroy", but from chapter 1, never even reaching the mansion.

He’s not an isekai character, but I GOTTA know. Could Joseph joestar (part 2) survive Re: Zero? (If I buy the witch level membership will you make it a video?)

We're making a lot of assumptions here. If Kazuma started with nothing but the clothes on his back and is one useless cheat, said cheat would be a Tonkachin deterrent since they targeted Subaru after picking him out as being alone. And for Kazuma to get wrapped up in the plot of Arc 1 from there would require him meeting Emilia and somehow choosing to help her find the lost insignia. What are the chances of that happening if she doesn't stop to ward off Tonkachin from beating up on a helpless boy from beyond the great waterfall? More likely Reinhart would meet Kazuma sooner and send him and Aqua on a totally different trajectory. Still, fun to think about though. I would comment on other details but I'm pressed for time today.

The video end actually goes to Kazuma's favor. His party drag him down, but look at any time he gathered other adventurers and his plans just works. He's really good at being the strategist and getting others to work together. A "solo with Aqua" run is almost unrealistic. It started good with randombly bonding with the thugs but that's exactly the road he'd take. Not a solo but co-op route with...pretty much everyone he meets, indirectly. This said he'll probably die the same way in the end. xD

If Kazuma followed the same story as Subaru, sure, but he probably wouldn’t even do that. He would probably avoid all trouble as it is and live out somewhere away from trouble. Not to mention, his Lurk ability is effectively free camoflauge, as Aqua couldn’t spot him mere feet away from her in a dungeon and she has stated perfect night vision. So, Lurk would basically get him out of any situation outside of some AOE attack he couldn’t escape from in time.

I haven't watched the video yet but LMAO no, he couldn't even survive in the easy-ass world he is in, has already had to be resurrected multiple times XD

I have a feeling Kazuma's ridiculous luck stat would have him avoid most of the situations Subaru encounters. But it can be argued that Aquas luck stat would counter Kazuma's so we're not sure. We cant assume the story would even play out the same way as it does in re:zero, and his stat distribution and personality are completely different from Subaru. Im curious how Puck would read Aqua's complete head empty nature. Also, I'm not sure we can assume Kazuma's magic abilities. He has no guild card to pick skills from. So lurk, steal, and drain touch would be out since there's no one to teach him those skills. There also aren't enough situations have Kazuma level up as much as he does in the show (monster hunting quests). Kazuma and Aqua's existences in re:zero would probably change the genre of story into a comedy too. Not to mention that alot of situations in re:zero only happen because some important characters are aware of Subaru's return by death. Ironically, I think Kazuma would do great in re:zero while Subaru would do great in Konosuba.

Fun fact: Kazuma can easily survive the great calamity of satella by Teleporting to the heavenly realm
