If those 3 step up big, this team is going to be savage.

Hate how much blame Fields got when they tore down the roster to the bare bones in 2022 and only heavily revamped the offensive personnel when he was traded away in 2024 😅 Luke Getsy was fired for a reason and Bubble Screens // Passes behind the LOS at a heavy clip only work for Bo Nix styled QBs not modern ones like Hurts, Allen, etc 😂 Just saying... -- NOTE: Fields in 2022, according to NextGen Stats by NFL only was accountable for 13 of the 55 sacks he took that year (and it was pretty similar numbers in 2021 and 2023 as well give or take a few more/less from him)

Man I can’t believe these ppl get paid for the stuff that they say. Especially when common sense and facts are not on their side at all. Montez Sweat alone makes any DLine at the very least top 15 in the league. It just shows that these ppl don’t watch or don’t know football bc I wouldn’t believe that either if I hadn’t seen it with my own 2 eyes. But even without seeing it, the numbers back it up still. The 8 games to start the season before the Montez trade, the defense allowed 218 pts. The 9 games after, they gave up a total of 161. For even more context, after the trade the defense lead the NFL in INTs and it wasn’t even close as we finished tied for the overall lead. There’s no way in the world that could happen with a 27th ranked DLine. Especially with playing 2 rookie CBs, 1 2nd year CB, 1 2nd year Safety, and Eddie Jackson who forgot how to tackle and had I think 1 INT on the year. Yet this guy is publicly on camera saying the Bears DLine is the 5th worst DLine in the entire NFL. Wow! And what’s even more crazy is that someone is going to cut him a decent size check for it. But hey, good for him. I’m not even mad at him. If you can get it then get it. I’m more mad at myself for not choosing to be a journalist. Dam if I only known how easy of a job it was 🧐

27th is low, but the Bears don't have anything close to a top 15 d-line in the league. They have one great player. Besides that, the depth chart is fully of journeyman and unproven young guys.

Pff is clueless. Bears defense didn't over perform the second half, they under performed the first
