Question what if you are looking for the 5.0 Liter V10 specifically?

Does the clutch on the most recent models also wear out when driving backwards frequently or when braking and accelerating frequently?

@@KevinMcMullen. I had someone say they would take a lowball cash offer pretty readily and that had me spooked that they were trying to unload on me. All the other Gallardos I'm looking at are over my current spending range (late year LP's). The dealer assures me that everything is up to date on the car, and I'm considering taking a drive there and having it inspected but I just can't shake the paranoia. The car has close to 20k miles on it but looks very clean. Is your car in sound mechanical shape? Did you need to replace the clutch, brakes, tubes, etc? I'm very serious about getting a Gallardo, but I'm so scared of getting ripped off I'm tempted to just get a 2021 stingray. I know cash is powerful, but I don't want impatience to cost me unnecessarily. Please let me know any issues you had or dealers you recommend or advise against. Thanks.

BandanaMed I would avoid buying any car from a dealer. They know little to nothing about the car they are selling. I didn't have any issues with mine. It has 62k miles. I would bot be worried about mileage. I have seen these with 150k miles on the forums. Buying a new corvette would be a bad idea. You would be losing 15k or more the day you buy it not to mention how quick it will depreciate. Buying a used exotic is expensive parts will break unexpectedly just have to know that going into it. My 2004 Ferrari 360 had issues it's just the price you pay owning these cars.

Not completely accurate PJ, If you remember 04 and 05 Gallardo’s had the horrific Clutch/flywheel mid 06 Lamborghini upgraded to the F type Clutches and while not quite as good as the 09-13(lifetime as you call it) Late 06-08 Much Better than the early ones!!!

Agreed. Especially in the market with these cars at about 110-120k. With 5k down, you’d be at well over 1k per month, even with excellent credit. You’d have to be at 144 month financing to be under 100k.
