I don't know why but I find Varun's videos so freaking soothing. He doesn't exaggerate things, keep giving important travel insights along the way and I have never seen him being impatient about anything. A perfect traveller right there.

I have a different opinion about our countrymen outside India. This opinion could be different than others, still I found Indians staying outside consider us a duffer and always try to make fool out of us. So, always be careful of Indians particularly NRI guys! The moment one steps outside the country he/sh must be 100% alert. Met one Punjabi guy in Indra square last November, he guessed instantly that we are Indians, though we were chatting in Tamil. When he introduced himself I automatically told him in Punjabi that he must be from Faizabad (Pakistan)! He asked me where I put up (standard nagging curiosity found among Indians asking personal questions), I told him that I am staying in Royal Thai Navy gust house and the accompanying gentleman is a commando deputed to me as my body guard. He simply disappeared into thin air! Thanks Varun for this nice video! Good luck.

Yes that passport problem is very annoying, every time they have to punch the details manually for me, a scan takes a few seconds whereas manually it takes minutes. And the worst part is that when i went to the passport office to issue a new and we'll printed passport they said It will only be done if the passport is expiring or there is some changes to be made in the details of the passport. I have to live with this passport for 10 years now, which is ridiculous.

Exactly why Indians are treated otherwise , freebies ,freebies I mean there has to be a limit, u are going to a place to experience its beauty, give something back in return , its more like exploiting then promoting tourism . There is a reason why we need to show confirmed hotel bookings to obtain visas , I wouldn't like foreigners to come to India and not spend a penny. I hate it wen our cabbies and hoteliers lose business to pple sleeping in tents and asking for lifts dey need to make a living too .
