Yeah, I really like all of it... but when she reaches for the fiddle you know they're absolutely going to bust loose. P.S. It was the KZread algorithm that somehow guessed I'd like this band. Not a huge fan of AI but it nailed it this time.

This isn’t bluegrass for me… just country auto tuned. Real bluegrass is Low Water Bridge Band or Poor Man’s Whiskey & Josh Brough, for instance.

@@oldgeezerLV Yes I think too.. Maybe the bluegrass definition is different according to states ? Maybe an Iowan folk will find that The Dead South and Lost Dog Street Band are more bluegrass than this version of Cotton Eyed Joe ?

Totally awesome I still don't understand why I am not seeing this group at the Grand Ole Opry what's going on

The feet thing in the start of the video just make my life worth living

I really like the way the bass baritone voice is balanced by the ladies. It really gives your music full depth and balance.

The banjo and fiddle outstanding. The whole video moved my heart and feet. So much talent on such a creative arrangement.

I finally got to see Southern Raised tonight here in McKee KY! They’re 4 phenomenal musicians who play some of the absolute best bluegrass/classical I’ve ever heard in my 55 years on this planet, I hope they come back to town soon, It was a great experience and show, Well done!

Love Southern Raised when I found them a few years back. Emily the violinist is just the cutest I've ever seen. I love music and musicians who love music as much as I do. Love all their music.

Banjo is one very unique music instrument for me, like in one side you can play it and make it sound so silly, like, you play it on a crossroad and everybody start doing shenanigans, but in the other hand, banjo strum is so calming and even touch my heart and make me cry, and today i saw this banjo solo and i cant even.. kudos to the banjo player!! amazing cover!

Been hunting and hunting for a great version of Cotton Eye Joe to introduce my kids to and stumbled across this video....AWESOME!!!!! I'd say this is the best fiddle playing I've seen since Charlie Daniels!!! Why are you guys not superstars is way beyond me but the folks in Nashville need to wake up!!!!
