I had not been to goodwill in a hot minute, but on a recent trip I found some fun things! What's on your thrift list?
So nice to see more of us older ladies with their own channels! How fun is this? Loving the shops. I love brown transfer ware. We have brown turquoise and salmon or peach in our rugs so the brown fits better than any other color and great with creamy whites. To make it more summery I can mix peach or turquoise into place settings.

Thank you so much! Stick around - we love having you!! :)
Paula, what I have started doing -- when one of your treasures has cracks or chips, it is so fun to use a Japanese Kintsugi Kit Can Be Used to Repair Broken Ceramics, Glass

What a great idea! I LOVE that ! Thank you!!
I am addicted to dishes also and don't have restraint like you do! 😂 I loved the cheery yellow and then the fresh looking lemon ones. Your flowers were so pretty on your table! Oh that set with the cupcake stands!! They would be in my cart for the next tea party!

I am headed back today to see if it is still there!! :)
Just LOVE the sweaters!! You did a great job of controlling your instincts to buy another plate....I know how hard that can be...they are one of weakness !!!! I can always make room for "one more!".... TYFS ❤😊

The soup looks so delicious, can’t wait to try your recipe! I love the painting behind you. I thought Hazel was part of the blanket until she moved! lol

LOL - the dogs are always around doing their thing whenever I make a video!🥰
Hi Paula! Lovely flower farm and your sweaters are adorable ❤ I think it would be worth it for me to drive down to SC from CT to thrift because your inventory and prices are unbelievable! I wish I could have snagged that hunting print. So glad you got the floral tray I was hoping you wouldn’t pass it up. May I suggest that the next time you make your pozole, you serve it the way it is served in Mexico: top with raw thinly sliced radishes, onion, and lettuce. Add fresh lime juice and fresh red or green salsa and accompany it with tostadas. I think you will enjoy it ❤

Oh Laura - those additions to the soup sound sooooo good! I will definitely be trying that version soon! Thank you for the suggestion!
Monks corner sounds like a fun place to visit. Love your depression era mixing bowl. My mother had a similar one and now it’s mine. But never thought to use it as a center piece. I’m always envious of your transfer ware. Both are beautiful. I love English China.

Thanks, Judith. Moncks Corner is a hidden gem! I also love English china - that is my china of preference! Take care!
If you lived in the South during the 70's, you had a copper rooster mold 😅

Thank you!
Yes I had the copper fish mold in my kitchen in the late 70’s. In fact I still have it and it hangs on the wall in my walk in pantry. What wonderful thrift finds, especially that yellow ware bowl. We could not go thrifting together because we like too many of the same items😂

All of my friends' mothers had those fish hanging in their kitchens. I wish I had picked it up just for the nostalgia of it! We are definitely thrifting sisters!! LOL
I love the transfer ware!❤❤❤ I recently purchased a brown set of 8 for $20. I also have red and blue.

Thank you so much! 🥰! Hazel is my little companion - she follows me wherever I go!!
Great finds on your thrifting trip. The little cabbage dish would look lovely in a glass canister used for flour, sugar, etc.. I too love dishes and have started trying to find different ways to utilize my finds. Thank you for sharing your recipe and thrifting. Enjoy your 4th.

Oh, Paula! Each shop you visited got better and better. Every single item you brought home from the thrift shops were the items that peaked my interest. The tea set with the cupcake stands will go well in the tea house that I think you should open up when you retire 🫖👍Your new sweaters are adorable and I see why you like them so much. OK - the yellow ware bowl is the icing on the cake. It would also look great in the spring/Easter with a daffodil/moss planting in it.
