That scoop with the base is a Sugar Scuttle. A sugar scuttle is a decorative container used for serving sugar, typically at tea or coffee services. It is designed to resemble a coal scuttle, which was historically used to carry coal. The sugar scuttle usually comes with a small scoop, allowing guests to conveniently serve themselves. These items were particularly popular in the Victorian era and are often made from silver or silver-plated materials, making them both functional and ornamental pieces on a dining table.

There should be another set of arms on the other side of the silver coffee/tea pot. There should be a stand to sit it on. Some are used to just keep the tea or tea stains from the pot staining tablecloths. Some have an attached dish to hold a candle under the pot to keep the contents warm.

I love the coffee grinder, very pretty & the price was great too! I'd love to have several more. I'd like to mix the coffee grinders & old tins on top of my kitchen cabinets, along with other decor, like brass & copper kettles, crocks & old syrup jugs, things like that. Loved the old Wood box too! So nice & like you said a great deal! I love anything old made of wood, large or small! The big bottle in the crate is a vintage water jug, they sell for well over $100 on eBay!! So that was actually A great price on it!! Wow the skates take me way back, to my younger days, in the 70's. That was the good Ole days!🥹 I went skating at least 3 times or more every week! My dead & the owner were good friends, that's where all the kids hung out! I've been looking for A 2 & 3 tiered tray. I have one but its a Christmas one & made of metal, I'd really like wood. That's A nice one! OMGOODNESS.. that bar was a gorgeous piece, the carvings were amazing! It looked Asian. I don't drink alcohol, but I'd find a use for it if i had it😁 honestly, I would have done google Lens on that piece to see the age & value. Anytime you're not sure of a piece, use your google Lens! I'm sure the piece you were asking about was some type of collector liquor bottle. My FIL collected the Crown Royal collector bottles. That glass was a cognac glass.. lol i really don't drink! I did use to in my younger days, but I've always been intrigued with the different glasses used for alcoholic drinks🤷‍♀️ I have that same size amber hen on nest & a milk glass one that's a Little smaller. Not a bad price, I've seen them priced higher & lower, depending where you find them. I want one in every color & all different sizes! With all the abundance of stores down here in Florida where we're moving to i should be able to find lots of my hunt/wish list items. I'm totally overwhelmed with how many stores there are just within 5-10mi, and so many more within 30-45min.. is crazy🤯 The milk glass candy dish that you lifted the lid on, my grandma had one just like that she would out her hard Christmas candy in every year🥹 I have a small but nice collection of milk glass pieces, and 2 very old milk glass lamps, both hobnail, ones vintage & ones antique. The wood piece had something to do with thread or yarn I'm pretty sure.. But I love it!! I've got lots of frames in lots of sizes that I've taken the art out of, i got just for the frame! I plan to be looking for Christmas pieces as soon as i get back to thrifting! I really want to fun a few of the santa mugs, by the main thing I'm looking for is one of the old ceramic trees with the lights in it. The originals are from the 1940's so i know i probably cant afford one that old, but i would like it to be vintage & not a newer replica. Oh yes the pink cup & saucer with the gold handle was beetle! I love owls on my porch with all my plants! Yes my grandma had the ice cream churn that you had to manually crank too! But girl we thought we were special because we got homemade Ice cream!!🍦😊 I have one of the really old wood buckets from an old butter churn, i put greenery in it! If like to find an old smaller ice cream churn bucket to go with it! Oh I just love all my lamps! That's one of the first things i started collecting, lamps & art/frames. And I've got quite a nice size collection! Some need a new shade or a finial, things like that, but most are in great shape! They all work except one but its so gorgeous i still use it for decor! Oh my I love the trunk!!❤ I have a really old red one i keep all my bed linens in. But we've been looking for a brown or black flat top to use for a coffee table.. and that price was unreal!😮 It would make a perfect coffee table!! I really liked the mens suit rack too. I always ck the copy rights, i buy them 1964 or older, i take the covers of before i display them. Not sure about that tea pot, that would be a good one to google Lens! I love the set of dishes with the gold trim & the Victorian ladies. My mom had A similar set, i was young so i don't remember the exact print. But I hope to find a pretty set myself. I'm just obsessed with that regency/Victorian look!!❤ Always love anything by Currier & Ives! I have lots of different things by Currier & Ives. I want to collect all the colors of transfer ware, some plates, some saucers & some platters so i have different sizes, and do a plate wall! Now the teal plate with the rose was gorgeous! Another piece I would google Lens! If love to collect all different beautiful plates to use as my everyday dishes, all mix matched! The 2 you bought are beautiful also! So excited to find lots of different Copper kettles! That looks like it may be a vintage turkey platter! Lol another google Lens!😄 Oh yes that square piece really would be pretty for linen napkins especially!! Yes girl my large silver tray is super heavy! I'm sure you have A heavy one too, or a couple of them😄 Hey we love our silver right?! I have enough that i won't buy anymore unless its really special 🤷‍♀️ That piece is called a "sugar scuttle scoop". It actually holds & serves sugar, like you'd use it in setting a table for a dinner party & you're having coffee or tea. Like you wouldn't leave it in there all the time. But it usually has a little tiny scoop with it to scoop the Sugar out. If all that makes since! Its a vintage piece, that's one I'd buy! Ones embossed like that run $30+.. great price on that piece! I'm sure there's older ones worth more. Again, google Lens can be your best friend in a thrift or antique store! Honestly that's how I've learned about alot of vintage & antique things! So simple to use! Loved all 3 mirrors, great prices too, but the wood one was my favorite! Oh my that chair was gorgeous! I think the price was very fair! I think i would have taken that one home! Beautiful planter! I've been looking for a scale like that one, and a postal scale! I f finally got my hanging scale last time i went antiquing. But I'll find them😊 I always enjoy your shop with me videos, i just shop right along with you, as if you can hear me talking😂 But its just fun for me! You had A beautiful haul, as always! Thanks for taking us along!!

Goodwill puzzles me. In our area they don't give us bags, we bring our own. All of their stock is donated, so it's free. Compare to our Dollar Tree, almost everything is $1.25, they buy their stock and they give us strong reusable bags. Can't figure it out. Only greed can explain it.
